I can't say enough positive things about our time at this beautiful home. Not only was it immaculate and everything as described, Cindy was wonderfully accommodating and communicative. You can tell that this is a cherished family gathering place as it has all of the comforts of home with the added bonus of the beautiful lake. The property is well maintained and the lake is clear and perfect for floating and swimming. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we are already talking about when we want to plan to go back next summer. It was a pleasure working with Cindy, wonderful host indeed!

Great place to stay

A very clean, cute house on a very clear nice lake. The town of Lake Mills is just a few minutes drive and has good places to eat and some cute boutiques. We had a great time staying here. Our teens enjoyed the air hockey table and we were able to get Jet Ski Madison to bring a jet ski to the public launch that's just a few houses down. We would stay here again.

Perfect stay for our daughter's wedding!!

The house was absolutely beautiful and the perfect oasis for our daughter's wedding. Cindy was extremely responsive and very helpful throughout the entire process. Would highly recommend!

Amazing Place

We came to town for our daughters graduation from UW - Madison. The lake house was perfect for our party size. We relaxed, we played board games, we cooked and we just enjoyed each others company. I highly recommend this home!!

Great house and hosts

Great experience on Rock Lake. Great house, especially if you have lots of kids. Very cool bunk room that sleeps a lot of them! Host were great. Thank you!

Perfect Getaway

My family had an amazing time! Weather was beautiful. House was spacious and very clean. The views were amazing...loved waking up to the beautiful lake every morning. We rented a pontoon, went fishing, swimming, kayaked and paddle boarded. The lake was peaceful and not too crowded. It was a perfect getaway for our family!

Amazing property!

We came for a girls weekend and this property was GORGEOUS. The quiet atmosphere and beautiful lake were just the tip of the iceberg. This property was extremely clean and well managed. The amenities were perfect and we cannot wait to rebook and bring the kids next time. Absolutely would stay again. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Beautiful views!

This is the second time my husband and I stayed with friends and kept our boat tied to the dock our entire stay. This house is perfect for families with kids. The kayaks are fun! Walk to Korth Park! Caught lots of fish! Place was very clean and comfy.

Wedding weekend

This is a beautiful, clean, spacious lake house! We rented for our daughter wedding weekend. It couldn’t have been more perfect! Cindy was amazing to work with. Communication was A+++. Can’t wait to stay here again and just sit back and enjoy the property and lake!

Great "Old Lady" college reunion vacation!

Every year 7 to 10, 65+ year old ladies pick a place in the U.S. to rent and spend some time together as we all went to college together. This house was one of our favorites. Beautiful lake view, quiet neighborhood and within easy distance to some of the sightseeing we wanted to do. I guess the only criticism we had was please get 2 ply instead of 1 ply t.p. bit, all in all a fabulous stay. I'd recommend it to all, young and old!

Perfect home

I booked this home for a girls weekend get away and it was all we could have hoped for. The house was in a great and beautiful location, close to the Kettle Moraine trail for some walking as well as close enough to town if you needed provisions. It was clean and just as advertised. The kitchen was well equipped with anything you needed and the space flowed great for just hanging out. There is nothing I have would have changed about the property.

A Magical Experience

I stepped through the aqua door, took one look at the view through the massive windows, and stopped to call one of the girls that was joining me. "We're not going to want to leave", I said. The house itself is incredible. The bedrooms are so comfortable. There's just so much space! We didn't even utilize the downstairs, and it is just as beautiful as the main room. The owners were 100% available and responsive. I felt so welcomed. What a privilege to spend time in this space. It's absolutely glorious. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

Family Gathering

We couldn’t ask for more. The home and property were 100% accommodating. They entire home was so homey and clean. Communication with the owners prior to our stay was thorough. And once there, instructions were clear. We will not hesitate to return and also to recommend. While there, we rented a pontoon from a local establishment. With the warm weather, it was perfect for going out on the lake. We packed lunches and you should have heard the laughter when everyone was out floating!…. Bonfires in the evening. Games at the ling kitchen table once the kids were in bed! The kids enjoyed the ducks and turtles. We all went to a local park and met a photographer for family pics. We left exhausted and happy.

Perfect family getaway!

I can't say enough about this perfect family lake house! We were two families traveling from the northern suburbs of Chicago that needed a weekend vacation! It was less than a 2 hour drive away but felt like we were in a different world! The owner, Cindy, was very sweet and let us check in early and check out late b/c no one was renting before or after us. As all the other reviews has mentioned, the house was immaculately clean! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen completely stocked. Rock Lake is a medium sized lake that is very clear with minimum kelp and the kids loved swimming and fishing off the very nice new dock! The paddle boat was so fun and we enjoyed using this for exercise and fun with the kids! We also rented a Pontoon from Pontoons on the Move that was delivered to Rock Lake to a launch that is literally a few houses away. There is also a local place to rent the pontoon if you only want one for a few hours, but we wanted one for our entire stay. We used the fire pit every night with plenty of Adirondack chairs for everyone! Book this house, you'll love it!

Rock Lake Vacation

We had a wonderful week at this beautiful home on Rock Lake! Cindy and Brad are terrific owners and were very responsive. It is obvious they care a great deal about their home. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us, although we could have easily fit a few more people! Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glassware, and cooking utensils. We rented a pontoon boat for the week from Pontoons on the Move, and a jet ski for two days from Madison Jet Ski Rental. The Elm Point boat launch is practically right next door which made picking up and dropping off the boat super easy! We also drove to Backyard Bikes and rented some bikes for an 18-mile ride. We loved being able to go out on the boat in the morning, stop back at the house for lunch, and go out again for the afternoon. The house is located close to the town of Lake Mills and the grocery store. Milwaukee is only 45 minutes away with lots of activities and great restaurants. This was our first lake vacation, and we would love to return to this home and Rock Lake!

A Christmas Reunion

We entered the beautiful home greeted by a wonderfully decorated and light Christmas tree!! The incredible vista over the frozen lake, with the winds whipping up the snow, was the back drop to our entire stay. Lake Mills is near our hometown of Waterloo where family remain. So the house was filled with the JOY of Christmas and family fun, an incredible place to create new memories. The house met all our needs and the owners were thoughtful and kind throughout the entire process. Thank you Cindy and Brad!

Just as described

This place was great! Super clean. Beds were comfy and clean so were the towels provided. We love the town of Lake Mills. The dock was perfect to tie our boat to all weekend.
