Fantastic property!

Westin St John is fabulous! Great for families/large groups given the kitchen and laundry in units. Beach is small but larger than most I’ve experienced on St Thomas or St John.

Beautiful property!

So we were told they were at 90% capacity - pretty sure they were at 50% staff. We ordered most meals via take out because of covid - the Westin ran out of dishwasher detergent. Also because of covid there was no cleaning service so we would need to put out trash outside our room... it would sit for days. When we would call and order things such as shampoo or conditioner we would need to call multiple times. There was just a lot of confusion too- we asked the concierge if they rented Dinghys and were told yes. We went to the water area and were told no. The resort Just seemed to have a few struggles.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about your Westin St. John vacation, Shanna. I am distressed to learn that the level of service was up to standard you would expect at a Westin. Now that people are traveling again, the resort is trying to keep up with the sudden increase of guests and it sounds as if there were instances where they were struggling. You are correct that since Covid, housekeeping is not provided because it is an effort to keep the virus from spreading with additional people in the villas. We hope that you enoyed the beautiful beach, pools and amenities at the resort and that you enjoyed the island as much as we do!

Beautiful property - Great Location!

We stayed in a two bedroom / two bathroom beachfront condo over the thanksgiving week. The condo was beautifully appointed, clean and well laid out. It had everything you needed in the kitchen as well. There is ALWAYS a taxi ready at the taxi stand to take you where you want to go and they are all super friendly! Any beach, restaurant you just let them know. SNORKLES BEACH RESTAURANT on property has limited food and didn’t change at all throughout the week long stay, but it is yummy! The MANGO DELI on property was good fir quick snacks as well. There are restaurants located all over town in St John and are definitely worth the trip to try a few of them. We purchased the WESTIN PRIVATE FERRY transport which made everything super easy. We checked in at St Thomas airport and they handled getting us and out bags to/from the airport stress free. Purchasing the Westin private ferry option also allows you unlimited travel to/from St Thomas throughout your stay. BRING BUG SPRAY! The islands are full of mosquitoes and noseems. we were all bitten up pretty good. I wish the resort did a better job of keeping them away with either tiki torches, bug zappers, spraying or supplying bug spray - anything!
