Overall this was a great property for our family to stay. We were able to all be under one roof, plenty of bedrooms and space. The location was great and we could walk to many things in Baileys. I rated it 4 rather than 5 because of cleanliness.

We had a wonderful time at the Spanglers place. Ray was there to greet us as we arrived and gave a little tour and history of the home. We were a group of 9 women celebrating our 75th birthday and had plenty of room. Large dining room table was games central! The patio outside the main sunroom was our favorite morning place for beautiful sunrises and coffee. The many antiques kept us fascinated, truly a fun place. You can’t go wrong with this large place with plenty of room for all.

Beautiful location in Bailey's Harbour with Lake Michigan out our back door. This house is perfect for large families- seven bedrooms and plenty of space. Ray and Mary are wonderful hosts! Would definitely book this house again.

The listing led us to believe we could access the water from the property. It read “ On the beach,A rare beachfront property in the area - enjoy direct access to the sand and sea.” This was not the case. This property is very dated and in need of some TLC, but was priced accordingly. Location was great (except lack of beach/water access).

Since the little girl Kenya down the street drown by running into the lake without her parents noticing that she was gone most parents prefer an entrance two houses South of us that they control.

It is very nice house with a fully stocked kitchen. We have been going to door county at least once every year for 35 years. This is our first stay on the lake side. We had 10 people in our party and we all had good time. We still prefer the bay side for shops and restaurants. The only negative we had was that the picture of the back yard show that we are right on the lake. Unfortunately, their is no lake access. That was a little disappointing for the kids.

Excellent location!! House has a lot of character will keep everyone talking with the cool old items displayed in home. Only concern was a few things could have been cleaned better before our arrival but overall had a wonderful time.

We are glad you enjoyed yourselves. Thanks for telling us about the partially clogged sink. I used power foam on all oof the sink drains. We want the building to five-star ready for the next group. Our other building Mary’s Beach House is booked solid but if you want a comparable change for next year.

Property was big enough for our family of 16. The view of the lake was extraordinary. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and spices. Check in was easy with no problems. Location was a very walkable location. Location was quite and peaceful during the night.The cleaning crew could have paid a little more attention to details. Some of the equipment needed to be repaired or replaced. Little details like the propane tanks being empty, ice maker not working should be addressed.Overall we had a great experience and would recommend this property. Thanks

Large house, great for accommodating a big group of people. The house was well stocked and also conveniently located next to a small grocery next door. Harbor view was beautiful and perfect for watching the sunrise. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful frontage and home . Amazing carvings and antiques . Loved sitting on the deck and overlooking the Lake. Needs a few repairs here and there but overall, a great stay !

I always have a list of improvements and repairs but it is not like home. Sharing with others doesn't mean hanging around, painting and hammering. I often feel some shame but an intervel of time fixes that. I am 82 but I hope to do this until I stumble around with a spotted shirt at 100.

Property was located for easy access and allowed walking to Beaches and tourist visiting areas. The backyard provided a safe and fun place for grandkids to play and family to gather. Kitchen and Bathroom facilities were properly stocked and provided easy access for all people to use and be comfortable.

Very interesting house to stay in. We enjoyed our time there and the BP next door is extremely handy and not a noise problem.

We had a lovely stay. The sunroom overlooking the lake was our favorite room. We have a big family, so the many bedrooms and bathrooms was great!

This is the most unique and interesting vacation rental I've ever seen! A truly fully stocked kitchen, expansive DVD collection, and lots of space for relaxing and socializing. We took advantage of the spacious lakefront yard and fire pit. The decor was a hit amongst our party! And the location is ideal for walking to shops, restaurants, and the nearby beach and park.

Enjoyable Stay in Baileys Harbor

Spacious older house with a large backyard overlooking Lake Michigan. Located on the main highway (busy during the day) within walking distance to restaurants/shops/nightspots. Good-sized bedrooms.
