Great set up, stayed at numerous properties over the years in St John. This is definitely one of the best maintained, convenient location, easy parking, everything you need for a great stay.

A beautiful place with a beautiful view! Everything we needed was right there at our fingertips- for the kitchen, the pool, the beach- down to every last detail. Clean, inviting, and the perfect get away for 2 couples to enjoy!

Awesome house and great location!!

This house is fantastic!! Location is amazing with access to hiking trail! Bocce court is a blast!!! Loved being close to Cruz Bay!! Great house and great hosts!!

Perfect

Beautiful property makes you want to stay longer. Living area and bedrooms were spacious enough for two couples. Landscaping and brickwork were exceptional. We were most pleased with our choice and expect to visit again.

BEAUTIFUL VILLA

Everything about this villa was 5/5 inside & out. VERY clean..private..fully equipped with everything you would need..pool area was great..big patio with table to enjoy…bedrooms/bathrooms are spacious..beautiful landscape & so much more.. Thank you Mike for this wonderful villa. We look forward to staying again :)

Better than advertised

Everything about the property exceeded our highest expectations. Better than any high end hotel we have ever stayed in - immaculately clean, well equipped, private. Path to National Park trail only steps away. A beautiful property inside and out. Loved the shower wall (a work of art) and the compass rose set in the pool deck!

The house is just perfect for two couples. The attention to detail is second to none it was lovely to arrive after a long day of travel to have snacks and wine for the evening and breakfast items and coffee for the next morning. THe kitchen is fully equipped and a washer and dryer is such a wonderful addition. We could have packed much less. We will definitely share this property with friends.

Has it all!

We enjoyed everything about our stay and location. Perfect to access the hiking trials. We enjoy the off the beaten path beaches on the east side for snorkeling but like the restaurants near Cruz Bay to enjoy in the evenings and this spot is perfect for that. Really has everything needed, laundry, A/C for the really warm nights, solar power if the power grid is down, perfect pool, and amazing views. Mike met us at the car ferry and showed us around the home when we first arrived. We have stayed all over the Caribbean and this home is clean and up to date with all the amenities!

Excellent stay , spotless , relaxing , great location Michael , meet us at Courtesy Car rental followed to Villa WOW WOW ! had things to eat after a full day of travel NOTE Had a very bad storm during the nite lost electricity Michael came and checked on us i in the pooring rain , A great place , great owners it is all it says and than some Pam and Craig

Paradise Found

This lovely property is secluded enough but near enough to be a dream. If you want a private pool, quiet at night, hiking trails literally out the back door you’ve got it. There’s no real need to ever leave this wonderful house but it’s minutes -a mile or two down the hill to Cruz bay and all the dinner, bars and fun nightlife you may desire. The distance to Coral Bay is also very near. We had a great vacation. Quality space better than the pictures look. It’s an ideal situation!!! We loved it

Awesome Week!

Everything about this villa was outstanding. The booking process was easy, and the villa lived up to the incredible photos. The host was easy to communicate with and responded within a few hours prior to arrival and then within minutes while we were on the island. The villa had everything you could want or need, all kitchen necessities, Dish TV, an audio system with exterior patio speakers, beach towels, beach chairs and coolers. The pool was perfect and refreshing after a long day hanging out on the beaches. The washer and dryer were easy to use, and they provided detergent. The villa also has an awesome bocce ball court with all the supplies.When we arrived on the island the host offered to meet us at the dock but we opted to meet at the villa, but that was a nice offer. They also put some eggs, English muffins, cheese and crackers in the refrigerator along with coffee and filters for the coffee maker.We truly enjoyed sitting on the back patio in the morning having breakfast and each evening with a drink and snacks before visiting one of the local restaurants. The villa location was perfect, just outside of downtown Cruz Bay but close enough to grab dinner, drinks, and shop. It also was easy access to all locations on the island and national parks. There is easy access to a path just behind the pool to one of the best national parks hikes. This has to be in our top five most favorite villas in the Caribbean, we will definitely book here again.

No complaints

Good location, private and clean. Perfect for anyone looking to get out during the day, come back and relax in/and around the pool. The two bedrooms were comfortable and each had their own bathroom. Everything in the house worked. Only thing to note was living room furniture is not comfortable and there are no TV's in the bedrooms so house is not set up to spend a lot of time relaxing indoors. However, that was just fine with us because we were usually tired by the time we got back there, and had the pool area and deck with the great view for winding down.

Perfect house for small family

Wonderful house very close to town and beaches. Had everything we needed for a peaceful 10 day vacation. Very private location, felt like our own little oasis coming back to after a day at the beach. Bocce court was a lot of fun and a great bonus to a great Villa. If we come back to St. John’s …. We will try to stay her again.

Beautiful villa!

What a great experience from check in where Mike escorted us from the ferry and had fruit, drinks and breakfast for the next day all ready for us to the well stocked kitchen and beach chairs and coolers….Pool was refreshing after a day at the beach and the views from the villa were inspiring especially on the front deck overlooking the water in the distance … beautiful mornings drinking coffee and watching the parrots, hummingbirds and iguanas ! Will come back soon !

Couldn't have asked for a better villa in St. John

My husband and I had the most amazing week at Villa Tamarindo. The second we stepped into the villa we felt immediately relaxed. It's open, the view is incredible, and the kitchen is fully stocked. Mike had everything ready for us - from meeting us to get to the house from Cruz Bay to sharing any and all details we would need to know about the house. The patio is spacious with a big table to enjoy your coffee at in the morning or happy hour in the evening - with lounge chairs to read a book. The patio has a nice breeze since it is set up on the hill and has barely any bugs which is a huge plus. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean, with great decor. Shampoo, soap, and lotion was all provided as well as plenty of towels. Fully equipped with everything you need for the beach - chairs, cooler, umbrella, etc. - you don't need to bring anything as the villa has you covered! Make sure you hike up the path in the back of the house that leads to the national park where you can watch the sunset at the lookout point. It's unforgettable. We were so sad to leave the villa, but are already planning our trip back and can't wait to experience villa tamarindo again. Thank you, Mike, for providing such a wonderful and thoughtful rental.

Milestone birthday

Mike met us at the ferry and assisted us with our luggage! He then took us to car rental followed by personal escort to property. Terry had fresh fruit and supplies for appetizers and breakfast… so appreciate after long travel day! Property is stunning with quick access to park. The private pool was wonderful! Highly recommend this property! Pristine, comfortable, quiet, stunning views of the beautiful island!
