We loved having 4 bedrooms downstairs. We loved having the great room upstairs lots of beds upstairs as well. Everything outside that we were able to use made it extra special. We love being on the river, so the kids can crab. The place was nice, clean ,garbage service was great! we have my three sons and their families for a family reunion each year. We usually rent a space down the road, but this is our new fav. we love it!

Great place for a family of 13 (3 generations). Teens and kids love the upstairs. We had a minor issue getting on first dsy but it was resolved immediately.

Overall, we enjoyed our time at the property and appreciated the opportunity to stay there. The location was nice, and we could see the potential for it to be a great vacation home.That said, the home wasn't quite what we expected based on the listing. Several of the beds were very uncomfortable—some bowed significantly in the middle, making them difficult to sleep on, and one mattress had a spring or other issue that poked through and made it uncomfortable to use.The listing also advertises a game room with a pool table, but there were no usable pool sticks, so we weren't able to enjoy that amenity.If you're planning to bring a boat, be aware that the dock could use some repairs. We were concerned about it scratching or damaging our boat because of its condition.With a few maintenance updates and some attention to these details, this could be an excellent rental. We hope the owners address these issues, as the property has a lot of potential.

Great stay!

The Reel Retreat was the perfect place for our extended family to get together. The location is perfect on the river and near everything you need. We happen to be traveling there right after a hurricane passed through and the owner communicated with us immediately and we really appreciate all the effort! I highly recommend this place!

Easter Getaway

The house was perfect for our family trip. The kids enjoyed having their own space upstairs while the adults enjoyed the outside space and fishing.

Great house right on the river!

Our favorite part is probably the backyard, patio. It's covered, nice and cool and there's a firepit in the yard. We've stayed here multiple times and like it every time.
