I am somewhat reluctant to write this review as I frankly want to keep how awesome this place is to myself. It is just across the main drag from some of the best scuba diving on the East Coast. I could walk to the dive shop every morning and to dinner, such that I parked my car for several days and never moved it. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed having you stay with us during your fishing charter. Thank you for booking with us. Our Morehead 1905 House is definitely about as close as you can get to the Morehead City Waterfront and we have a dock cart available for your use if you are carrying boating supplies to and from the dock. We hope you'll come back and stay again next summer!

We loved our stay! The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. It was walking distance to so many great places. It was perfect!

Amazing

Everything about this place was amazing. From the communication with the owners to the location, it was all great. The only bad thing about our entire stay was having to leave.

Wedding Weekend

Very clean and well appointed home, exceeded our expectations. Location was great, easy access to restaurants (some walkable), shopping, and the wedding we attended in Indian Beach. Enjoyed our morning coffee on the front porch! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Cozy, comfortable home. Perfect for our family. Master shower so great, bikes are fun to ride around town. Very convenient location. Will be back!

Great older home on quiet street with updates. Conveniently located 3 blocks from waterfront. Great amenities including nice outdoor grill & bicycles. Owner was great to work with. Highly recommended

Morehead City Historic Home

Our second time staying here. Another enjoyable trip. Very well located historical home with some upgrades. Comfortable inside. Wonderful morning shaded two story porches. Bring your books. Private courtyard in the back. The owner maintains the southern coastal charm with the landscaping. The house is well equipped inside and out. 4 bikes are in the garage. Easy walk to downtown-less than 10 minutes. Country gift store around the corner. Breakfast diner and wine/beer bar across the street.

Sweet little town

We really enjoyed getting to know this sweet little town and loved the location and size of this lovely rental home. It was easy to communicate with the owner and this rental met all our expectations!

Overall lovely home near everything

Older home with plenty of charm and very spacious and comfortable. Beautiful back yard, porch and front porch to relax and enjoy. Furniture and layout of home was all very comfortable. The only reason I did not give it a five was due to a couple of areas needing improvement such as one ceiling spot in need of patching and repair. Owner was very responsive!

Wonderful home!

Win - win! The house was perfect for us. Being just blocks from the waterfront made for a beautiful breeze whenever using the outdoor seating. I am slightly handicapped and the master bath provided just what I needed. Nice kitchen and plenty of seating for all who are staying. 2 thumbs up. I will return.

Morehead City Historic Home

Comfortable house within 5 min walking distance to restaurants and historic downtown. Historic home with some renovations. Lots of porch space. The courtyard in the back of the house is a wonderful retreat. The bikes provided made for an enjoyable family activity. A great stay.

Visit with Marine son

We had a wonderful time with our son and the other family that shared the house with us. House has areas for people to spread out into and do different things. Beds are very comfortable and the backyard is great for grilling out. The town is just a few steps around the corner. Highly recommend. Owner easy to communicate with.
