SUGAR CAMP - BARN STYLE CABIN!
In costruzione! In Grassy Meadows, WV..1200 sq ft cabin., Immerso in una piccola radura in cima alla collina. Dispone di 2 camere da letto, 2 bagni completi, cucina, zona pranzo e soggiorno. Pavimenti in legno in tutto! Grande portico, piccolo patio per grigliare e un invitante cerchio di fuoco. Costruito con molta cura e attenzione ai dettagli e alle tendenze. Ogni stanza contiene una piccola "storia di famiglia"! Porte antiche, lavamani di grandmas, tavole di pino, tavole di noce, pannelli di pioppo, lastre di acero, travi, scale, finiture; tutti raccolti intorno alla fattoria. Buona strada sterrata attraverso i boschi, trazione integrale o 4x4 raccomandata in inverno. 10 minuti a I64. 40 minuti per Beckley o Lewisburg, 2 ore da Roanoke, Virginia o Charleston, Virginia Occidentale. Ancora qualche minuto a est di Lewisburg, (sede della WV State Fair), puoi essere a White Sulphur Springs per l'annuale Greenbrier Classic. Area eccellente per cavalcare, andare in bicicletta o portare i tuoi ATV. Benvenuti a fare escursioni nella fattoria e vedere tutti gli animali della fattoria e la fauna selvatica.

My husband Ed and I live on a working farm at the foot of Keeney Mt in Grassy Meadows, WV. Road name changes and 911 address changes have us with an Alderson mailing address, making it really fun for the UPS and FedEx drivers. I even had trouble listing our cabin on Keeney Mt Rd; the map would not recognize the location. When my husband told me our road was forever called Ford Hollow Road, I plugged the name in and it came right up!
Ed is the full-time farmer. I work as a USDA Consumer Safety Inspector with a local patrol assignment. Every spare minute I have though is used to be outside helping with the animals and farm chores. Ed along with a cousin or two, would spend summers here as kids helping his grandpa in the hay. In 1979, at 20 yrs old he moved here to be with his grandpa. I am from this area, raised on a dairy farm, and graduated from the local high school. I received my B.S. in Ag. Business from WVU in 1987. I have three grown boys of my own, all out working and making me proud! Eddie has a daughter just out of college and headed out on her own. We both love this way of life; although sometimes heartbreaking and back breaking, we wouldn't change a thing.

We offer a quiet and simple get away in the country with the best of access right off the interstate. When things slowdown in the late fall and winter months we can offer one-night stays for people traveling through the area, if the request will go through the site, try that first, if not contact us directly!!
