James Island

The location of the property was excellent. The accommodations were good, but having one bed in the living area is kind of awkward. The property would be great for a couple who only needed to use the one bedroom in the back of the house. Enjoyed our stay, but if traveling to Charleston again would probably choose another location - only because of the layout of the bedrooms - really only one "bedroom". The bathroom is really small as well. The host was great with correspondence. Overall, really enjoyed our stay.

Loved it!

The Island Hideout was perfect. It was very clean and comfortable with lots of room, comfy beds and convenient parking. The location was so convenient to everthing you come to Charleston for: the beach, great food, entertainment etc but still tucked into a quiet peaceful neighborhood. David was easy to communicate with and check in was a breeze. We will definitely stay here again and recommend The Hideout to others! Thanks for a great stay!

We never stayed in James Island before AmEx everything from the property to location and support from the owners was fantastic!

I have lived in Charleston for 11+ years. I enjoy being on the water, snow skiing, live music, meeting new people, and exploring the outdoors. Traveling through South America and Southeast Asia I developed a curiosity for experiencing new cultures and people. I am happy to have my roots in Charleston, with it's beautiful beaches, eminence history, and vast inland waterways.

I moved to Charleston to attend the College of Charleston, where I graduated Cum Laude from The School of Business. I now live in Charleston and work in Real Estate and Construction. I love my city and know it well so I am always happy to make recommendations for activities, tours, and restaurants. Myself or a cohost is always available to address any issues that may arise during a stay. Looking forward to hosting you!!

Centrally located in a convenient James Island neighborhood, only a quick 5-mile drive or Uber ride to both Folly Beach and Downtown Charleston. Beautiful James Island County Park is close by as well as restaurants, bars, shopping, banking, and convenience stores within a half-mile.

This newly renovated, 2 bedroom attached apartment with private entrance is conveniently located on James Island, 10 min to Folly beach or 12 min to Downtown. Comfortably sleeps 4-5 adults with two memory-foam Queen beds, one futon, full kitchen and bath. The large fenced in backyard is shaded by grand oak trees and provides ample space for parking vehicles, trailers, campers & boats. Beach chairs, beach towels, and a portable bluetooth speaker are among available for guest's use.
