Very spacious property in a quiet location, very close to the Shack and the beach. Good location for big family break and plenty of space outside for the kids to play. Few bits could do with some maintenance

Great outdoor space and perfect location

The villa is incredibly spacious and was perfect for our group. The outdoor area and pool are fantastic and were a real highlight of our stay. The location is excellent, with the beach, the lake, the shack and the campus all within easy walking distance. The games room was great fun for the kids. If you are looking for space, a great location and excellent outdoor facilities, this villa is a great choice.

We had an excellent stay here.

The place has very big bedrooms and was perfect for our group. The place is a small bit dated but it’s exactly as the photographs look. I would definitely recommend this to others.

Amazing place, very spacious even with 7 guys and all bedrooms were clean and tidy.

The vegetated courtyard was a beautiful feature that can be seen in all the common areas. Games room downstairs was a fun addition. Great location amongst other lovely villas and fairly close to the beach. Host was very responsive and helpful.

Villa Lira is AMAZING!

Villa Lira is AMAZING! I stayed here for 4 nights with a big group of friends and we loved it. The rooms are huge with private bathrooms, there is tons of lounge space both inside and outside and we particularly loved the garden, pool, BBQ and cabana in the day and lounging on the upper deck at night. Would highly recommend. Thank you so much for accommodating my friends and I! We absolutely loved Villa Lira and have so many great memories to look back on for years :) Muito obrigado!

Excellent Stay. Terrible Wifi.

Great house and garden and pool. Super location. The wifi is truly awful. Works a bit on the ground floor. No wifi anywhere on lower ground and very patchy upstairs. Being in beautiful Portugal isn't about having wifi, but in this day and age it is a necessity to have wifi access throughout a home. I don't need fast speeds, just access. A few of the tempur mattresses aren't to our taste and get very hot.

We had a very nice stay with oar whole family.

Everything. The last day of oer stay Portugal had no electricity. Then we had a problem in the evening. No alternatives for light. A lesson to learn for everyone!

Apesar deste desafio, estamos contentes por a sua experiência global ter sido positiva, e esperamos que tenha criado memórias maravilhosas connosco.

We are an extended family of 12 who have just returned from a week at Villa Lira in Quinta do Lago

We are an extended family of 12 who have just returned from a week at Villa Lira in Quinta do Lago. The villa is much bigger than the photos suggest in a fabulous and sought after location close to The Shack and The Campus at Quinta. You are really at the heart of a very exclusive area with numerous smart eating venues. Five of the six double bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms which was an unexpected plus. The planted atrium in the centre of the house is beautiful. The terrace overlooking the pool was fabulous to chill out in the shade. The big kids loved the games room in the basement complete with ping pong table and pool table. We paid extra for the pool to be heated which we would highly recommend. We used the charcoal BBQ on a couple of occasions. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay. We would thoroughly recommend Villa Lira to anyone looking for a holiday in this region of the Algarve. Thank you for a fabulous week. Amazing villa - we loved not just the property. but its great location too. Thank you for all your quick responses when we had a question. We would happily book to return. FYI the downstairs ensuite bathroom lock should not be turned - it seems to have rusted internally and one of our young persons got stuck for a number of minutes before eventually managing to open it. A child would not have been able to do this. We have already alerted you to a leak in the downstairs shower (not ensuite but next to the garage).
