This place was peaceful and relaxing . Secluded and yet not to far of a drive for any essentials. For those who dont want to be totally disconnected the wi fi worked well.I would recommend this place to anyone.

Friends, Fun, and Fishing!

Truly enjoyed our stay! Great time to enjoy beautiful Minnesota. Were able to connect with friends while enjoying the lake, the fishing, and the cabin. Great way to spend a week up north!!

we love this cabin and location and have stayed many times. Lindsay is the best, great communication and responsiveness. this time the cabin wasn't as clean as we are used to, hoping this was just a one time oversight. we plan to return again.

Cozy and rustic accommodations! Had to spend my birthday doing some vacuuming of floors and windows, washing all bedding, making all beds, cleaning off the patio table, and cleaning the oven, but the hosts graciously offered to compensate me. The lake is okay for swimming. The kids had a blast on the dock fishing (lots of crappies), taking out the kayaks, paddle board, and paddle boat. There was garbage piled up in the shed from the previous visitors and it started to stink pretty bad, especially after adding our own garbage to it. There were no neighbors when we were there, which was nice. Internet was great, bugs weren’t too terrible with fogging, and the nights by the fire were peaceful. We spent a week making wonderful memories!

Beautiful Property

Our family had a wonderful week filled with boating, fishing off the dock, campfires and BBQs. Wish it didn't have to end. Thinking of coming back in the fall.

Amazing Water Therapy

Every year my 2 brothers and my boys have a fishing outing. We have been all through the state and this place by far left all the others in the dust. Amazing cabin on the lake. The hosts had everything you could think about or need. The fishing was so incredible that I will not share how good it was because fishermen dont share secrets. We all absolutely loved this place and are planning to return.

Quite getaway

Memorial weekend was one for the record books. We wanted to get away and enjoy that peace and quite of the north woods. Plenty of options to keep everyone busy. ATV trails, fishing, camp fires, Ect. Dispite the many things to do and the holiday weekend. This was one on the quietest place as I have ever been. All the neighbors were very respectful and you can’t beat the lake view from the screen porch. We will definitely be back.

Cabin life

Property was fine, fishing was good, nice trails in woods to walk. Make sure to bring life jackets, could not get water to run in fish cleaning area bucket worked fine. No room in garbage cans for our trash. TOILET DID NOT EVEN FLUSH TOILET PAPER, BUMMER

On the plus side: screened in porch was nice; master bed was comfortable; portable fans were plentiful and vital; pet friendliness was great; lake is nice. On the negative side: the musty odor of the property was almost overwhelming. We opened windows and ran all the fans and after a couple of days, it was better - but there is a mustyness that is eminating from the lower kitchen cupboards that is way stronger than all the Damp-Rid containers which were out could make a dent in. Secondly, on our way to the property we were informed by the owner to bring our own water (they said the well was new and didn't know if it was safe to drink). That's a tough thing to deal with when you don't have any options - we had brought barely enough water to get us through. One other issue is the lovely screened in porch was completely sealed with plexiglass, screwed-in covers. This is in part why the musty odor was trapped in the house.

Property was the perfect cabin experience! Our family enjoyed our stay as well as our dog! It is right on the water, which made it perfect for boating, paddle boarding, fishing, and swimming. We appreciated the amenities of a full kitchen, fridge, and washer/dryer. My favorite was the porch where we hung out to play games, share meals, and watch the beautiful sun sets.

Nice, quite,clean getaway.

Cabin was very clean & supplied just about everything we needed for our stay. The property is in a very nice, quiet neighborhood. The only thing we had a problem with was that the outside porch lights were burnt out. When we wanted to grill after dark we had to take a light bulb from inside of the cabin to help light the porch to be able to grill. We enjoyed our stay and would use this rental again if & when we want to stay in this area again.

Nice little cottage

Nice setting on a picturesque lake. The cabin was built probably in the 40's and has a little modernizing here and there. If you are looking for that Minnesota North Woods Cabin experience of your youth, this is it. Definitely a nice comfortable place for a weekend or week. 2 bedrooms, 1 bath with a separate shower room. Large and well stocked kitchen, plus a big enclosed porch overlooking the lake with another dining table. Plenty of space for a family. great fishing, and a lot to do nearby. We biked the Mesabi Trail and loved it. Fishing on Long Lake is generally good. The 4 wheeler trails are accessible just up the gravel road and there are miles and miles of trails. Overall nice rustic northwoods lodging.

Perfect family vacation

we really enjoyed our time. even though it rained most of the time we still made the most of it, hiking, kayaking, swimming and fishing 🎣 This rental is very well-stocked with anything you need.
