Great Stay

The cabin was a perfect getaway. We liked the seclusion and a chance to unwind. The access road was a little rough, but well worth it We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful little Cabin

Cozy little cabin nestled in the woods. We had a wonderful stay. Cabin is perfect for two. It has everything you need and not far from town.

Wonderful Property

The cabin and location was perfect for my wife and I to enjoy the quiet and relax. Everything was clean and comfortable. We are looking forward to staying at this property again.

Lovely Place to Stay

I stayed for two night over the weekend and I definelty would recommend it for anyone. It was very quiet and had a pretty good view from the porch. It was also very easy to get into contact with the owner and they were very willing to help.

Beautiful secluded cabin, well equipped with house hold items, we really enjoyed the back porch grilling and relaxing in the hot tub also watching the deer in the morning. Very clean where it mattered but could use some tlc, a lot of dust and cobwebs visible underneath the bed and couch, I did clean cobwebs and leaves off back porch but thankfully there was a broom and being in the woods it’s expected with insects. The shower is kind of dark would recommend a lighter color shower curtain to allow more light. WiFi was good and cabin is close to town easily accessible. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. Thank you George for allowing us to relax at this beautiful place.

Very comfortable little cabin

Woodsy location, between Murphy NC and Blairsville GA. Close to John Campbell Folk school. Comfortable bed.

Great except one thing need better bed

It was great except the bed I think u should invest in better bed and bedding it was very uncomfortable bit everything else was great

The back porch of the wilderness

We loved everything about this place! My most favorite part was the secluded back porch with rocking chairs, board games, hot tub and even an overhead fan to provide a cool breeze in the summer. The cabin is a perfect size for short trips or even long stays, very little wasted space and clever Scottish decor. We seen baby deer every morning as we headed to town, they were comfortable being close as this location is very remote, but they also kept a safe distance as they should. More than one cabin is located on the property but everything is spaced so that while in your own you’d think you were out there all by yourselves. The owners replied timely with any direction needed and but also kept to themselves, we never seen another person the entire weekend.

We loved everything about this place.

For starters it was super clean. Big white fluffy towels. Facial washcloths with makeup removing wipes. The two way fireplace was perfect. Two things I would suggest changing or investing in: A new mattress (this one was very hard) Although the bed linens were soft and comfortable. And a Keurig Coffee maker. So much more convenient In our opinion, for a quick cup of coffee. Other than those two things this place was truly great. We would definitely stay here again

Love the Woods

The cabin is in the middle of the woods. There was wildlife all around the area. We mostly saw deer and turkey. It is very peaceful and I do love the woods. The cabin is just the right size for two and was the cleanness cabin we have been in. I don't normally like gas fireplaces but this one for whatever reason I love. I heated the whole cabin. It brought back memories of grandma's house. We love it and will be staying there when we are back in the area.

Perfect anniversary trip

Probably the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in. So GRATEFUL for that! MacDonald cabin was super private. The covered porch was wonderful. We're already discussing dates to return.

Perfect getaway cabin

This little cabin was perfect for a quite getaway with my husband. Property was nice and you felt secluded even with other cabins near by. We loved our stay and would definitely go back.
