Peaceful, clean , accommodating to me needs

Wonderful, quiet & relaxing very clean . Morning she had fresh fruits , juice, coffee and muffins cereal , I was impressed I will stay here again

Gorgeous property!

The property was even more impressive than expected, we enjoyed walking the dogs and riding bikes around the grounds. The space would make a gorgeous wedding venue and an even better combined family stay. We appreciated the hospitality shown to us!

1 night stay with pets

Easy check-in, nice property, comfortable beds. One thing to note - if you go on a weekend there may be a separate event there. We had some children assuming we were part of their family that tried to get into our room to see our dogs. Not a huge issue just locked the door and closed the blinds.

Wish it was longer

We only stayed at this beautiful for one night on our way from Colorado t Maine, but It was so lovely and restful, we wish we could have stayed longer. The property itself is stunning and the stable rooms we clean and comfortable. The "lodge" was stocked with anything you could ever need and has a beautiful fireplace where I expect many a cozy night could be enjoyed. We were traveling with our two dogs, and there were plenty of great walks to be found right on the property. Highly recommend!

Magical property

Immaculate grounds. Beautiful landscaping. Wonderful birding. Brown thrashers were doing their two-note mimicry. Cold Creek was like an image from a dream with deep clear water for fishing, manicured paths for walking and stunning vistas to absorb. Yellow-rumped warblers were fly-catching from the banks while the trout jumped from the water to join the feasting.

Wonderful!!

If you are looking for a peaceful country get away, this is the place. Still close to all the attractions Lake Erie has to offer but out of the hustle and bustle of the city. I couldn't say enough about the property. It is something you would have to see. Several acres to explore, ride bikes, play croquet, have bon fires, the list goes on. The rooms are very quaint and very clean. Dan and Renee are great host. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. A definite five star!! We will be back.

Far exceeded our expectations!

Ranae & Dan were the PERFECT hosts, they made everything so easy and inviting, their accommodating character and refreshing personalities added a natural warmth to the overall experience. The property is instantly welcoming, uniquely set up, and styled with a comfortable class...and the gorgeous grounds are simply pristine all the way around! Be sure not to miss the incredible sunset, the huge fish in the creek, lounging in one of the cozy common areas, or sitting by the fire with a glass of wine...just don’t warm up towels in the microwave for a foot massage because they WILL catch on fire! 🤭Lol sorry Ranae!! We will certainly return to this lovely hidden gem! Michelle & Doug

So this was exactly what we were looking for! We just wanted a place that was quiet and off the main stream, but yet it was super clearly accessible to everything. It was amazing. We had such a great time and we got to meet the young lady that is the caretaker/housekeeper and she was super sweet. Gave us some advice of places to go and such…nice time loved it!!! I cannot imagine how beautiful this place will look in the fall. I am sure it will be just amazing. :-)

We drove through a bomb cyclone to get here and it was worth it.

A beautiful spot, we were so happy to find the common space stocked with popcorn and fizzy water that we enjoyed while warming our toes by the gas fireplace. We were cozy as the storm raged on. Coffee by the fire in the morning and a prompt plow by th sport's friendly folk had us on our way happy and refreshed.

Beautiful property, spectacular grounds for exploring and keeping our dog occupied. Dan was on the spot with any questions we had and also provided some very interesting history of the area.
