Great spot to catch up with friends and get out into nature.

Friends and family enjoyed our stay in this home. Plenty of space for 6 adults and 3 kids. The separate game room was nice because we could be a bit louder after the kids went to bed. Beautiful main room with dining area. We opted to drive to the end of Cannon Rd and hike from there. It was an easy hike for our small children down to the river.

Mini ski vacation

Property was clean and surprisingly spacious. All 8 of us could find quiet space when needed. The game room was a hit and the living room was big enough for everybody to comfortably gather in. We would love to stay again.

Great Group Gathering

Used this as a home base for skiing at White Pass. Excellent location and the house was well setup for us. Lots of amenities and plenty of space for spreading out the group. The game room was awesome.

Family Getaway

We had a wonderful time at this cozy Packwood cabin. We arrived to a warm, Christmas tree lit home with plenty of beds and most of the comforts of home. It worked perfectly for our family of 5 with 4 adults and a one year old. We loved it!

Impressive!

We spent the 4th of July holiday at "the pad." We were awed when we walked in at both the eye appeal and the freshness. This place is so much bigger than it seemed from the pictures. Two people almost get lost in the space. We were further impressed by the diversity of cooking items in the kitchen--both a pressure cooker and a slow cooker, with two grills outside to boot! Our only disappointment was the busy roadway so close to the house, but the overall luxury far outweighed that drawback. Communicating with the host was incredibly easy and fast. The description here understates how nice this place is.

Homey Spring Ski getaway!

We really enjoyed the house and the town of packwood. First day we had elk right across the street, the cedar soak hot tub was phenomenal and helped much after a long day snowboarding! The house had a COMPLETEY full game closet and a pool table! We must’ve just missed the slot machine it wasn’t there when we visited. It’s hard to feel at home away from home but this rental was great, in every aspect. They had some kid stuff and dog stuff, I almost wish I brought my dog but now know for next year! We will be back!

This property was amazing and the location is beautiful. Everything we needed and more. The host was very responsive to my questions and we wish would could have stayed longer in warmer weather to use the hot tub! Already thinking of how to go back!

2nd time here, we'll be back for a 3rd

This is the 2nd time we have rented this home. That should say how much we liked it. We chose this because of its relative closeness to the White Pass Ski Area and the hot tub. This year we were a party of 7 adults. The home is very comfortable to hang out in. The big living area had ample room for all of us. Using the hot tub was really nice after a day of skiing. Things to consider is that there are 2 bathrooms. The one off of the master bedroom has a bath/no shower. The main bathroom has a shower. This was not an issue for us. Communication with the owner/manager was excellent. It seemed that I had a response almost immediately after hitting send. (not really, but the response was super quick) Couldn't be happier. Everyone with me has told me they want to do this again next year.

Ski weekend

The house is very nice. Fun toys for kids. Only issue was dishwasher was broken and leaked on kitchen floor. Not the owners fault it broke but would have been nice to know that was not going to be working since we had a full house. Good communication with the owner about it. We would stay there again!

Perfect for Family & Great Access to Skiing

Perfect amenities for our family of four. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The washer & dryer were new & it was so nice to be able to do laundry. The beds were very comfortable and came with cozy linens. We loved soaking in the cedar soaking tub after skiing. Easy access to White Pass. Would love to stay again!

Beautiful, relaxing oasis

Amazing experience at the Packwood Pad :) Hardly left the property! The soaking tub, wood burning stove, and comfy atmosphere was all we needed. The host sent us a video clip for directions from home to a waterfall just a 20min walk (or less!). All the amenities of home and more. Would love to come back!!

NICE AND COZY

Our family (6 humans and 2 Labs) loved this cabin. We normally get a cabin twice a year for our White Pass trips. Sad that some of our family members couldn't have made it because of covid but we made the best of our trip and this cabin helped a lot. The game room and hot tub kept the kids entertained. And when they needed their own relaxation time there was plenty of places to go relax in peace. Cabin is really spacious!! This place had practically everything you would need to stay for days. Beds were very comfortable!! Full washer and dryer was nice! First cabin that we've stayed at that had the vacuum out so we can use it when need be!! The kids were excited about the game room and I was excited about the vacuum!! LOL The only thing missing was a little fence area for our fur babies to roam and potty without the worry of the main road out front. It was no biggie leashing them but our fur babies are really weird with privacy. They will only go if we aren't watching them so I have to turn my back and wait.

So cozy!

This place was great to come back to after a long day of skiing with my family! The beds were soft and comfortable, the house was warm, the hot tub soothed our aching muscles and the slippers provided kept our feet warm. The look of the outside is a bit deceiving...it looks like a classic rambler...but the inside feels like a cozy cabin in the woods! Communicating with Kellie was easy peasy! I would rent this place again in a heart beat!

Lovely, relaxing stay

The place was a surprise. It's much bigger than the photos portrayed. There are so many rooms for places to hang out. Loved the pool room, and the hot tub.

Lovely home!

Everything about this home is as advertised. It was a cozy place to stay. Comfortably fits a bunch of people. Close to town. Had fun roasting marshmallows and hotdogs! Played endless games of pool! LOVED the walk to the waterfall. Only downfall is that it’s on the main road and there’s no backyard, so all activities are on the street side.

Gorgeous

Everything you could need or want in one place. The closet is full of games! A pool table and a vintage slot machine that actually pays out! Fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Beautiful family room and a ton of beds to sleep everyone in your party. The hot tub and fire pit were my favorite! The best part is the house is immaculate! The inside of the toaster was clean! Communication was easy and it was easy to find. Highly recommend!! I can't wait to book again at the packwood pad.

Annual Family Ski Trip!

This home is close to White Pass where out family loves to ski. It was clean, well maintained, The kitchen was well supplied and a nice size for we cook most of our meals to keep the cost down. The table was very large which we spent hours playing cards and enjoying our meals. There is a bonus room with a pool table. We will stay here again!
