Lussuoso ma rustico descrive questo rifugio di montagna di 4800 piedi quadrati situato ai piedi di una splendida valle a sé stante, consentendo stili di vita sia urbani che montani. La fauna selvatica è abbondante nel ritiro di 6 acri. Questa casa di tronchi è accogliente e casalinga ed è ottima per intrattenere. Ti sentirai come a casa. Enorme ponte fuori dal soggiorno / sala da pranzo si apre sul grande cortile dove è possibile guardare o divertirsi con una partita a croquet, bocce o un cowboy / ragazza che scheggia verde, ferri di cavallo, golf di frisbee. Grande casa per una riunione di famiglia nella casa di tronchi. Organizza i tuoi eventi familiari in una delle sedi degli eventi nelle vicinanze: The Pines, Mount Vernon Country Club, Boettcher Mansion o diverse chiese nelle vicinanze
La casa è nella posizione perfetta perché sei così vicino alla città (10 min) e tuttavia sei in montagna. Non sei così profondo nelle montagne dove ci vuole molto tempo per trovare luoghi e non sei proprio in città, quindi è davvero il migliore dei due mondi.

Amazing stay

Darcy walked us through check-in and gave us a tour to answer all of our questions. She was sweet and informative. The property was beautiful and was a perfect place to host our wedding. Any questions we had Darcy got back to us in a timely manner. I would love to come back again!!

Wow Wow!!!

What an amazing property!!! We had a golf outing for 7 guys and we couldn’t have had a better experience. The home is spacious and very comfortable. It has a great old western vibe along with a large outdoor space. It was perfect for our needs. I highly recommend this wonderful home and would definitely book it again!!!

Roomy and well-equipped

Our group had an enjoyable stay. It is a quick drive off of I-70 and easy to find. There is plenty of space for people spread out (when desired), and lunch on the deck (with one's choice of sun or shade) was a highlight. We chose to avail ourselves of some lovely hiking trails a short drive away. The orientation by the owner upon arrival was very helpful, as well.

Beautiful place for a wedding!

Darcy was amazing start to finish. We were able to preview home after booking to make final plans. We communicated through the process. She was quick to respond! Check in was easy and the house was beautiful, clean, well stocked for all of our needs and more. We had a smaller wedding and Darcys home had everything we needed to have an amazing day! We will definitely book again!

Christmas Stay

This house was decorated beautifully for Christmas, tree included! The ambience gave us all such a cozy and magical experience. There was plenty to do at the house to keep us entertained on the more snowy days. The windy road down to the house should be used with caution during the snowy/icey months, as not all parts of it has guard rails/barriers. Overall, a beautiful time was spent there, and we would definitely stay again.

Wedding Day!

We had our wedding here last weekend and it was absolutely beautiful. There was plenty of room for a tent and the gazebo that you can decorate was perfect. This property is amazing for weddings. The inside of the house was cozy, and clean. The poker tables were a hit with the groomsmen! There was plenty of room for everyone. Darcy was very communicative and let us check the property out twice before the big day! Thank you Darcy! We definitely enjoyed our time here!

Red Rocks 10 Ladies

We were a group of 10 girlfriends who stayed in this wonderful log home. It was chosen because of it's proximity to Red Rocks as we went to a concert. Also, it was like being in the middle of the mountains. Lots of scenery, deer, elk and even buffalo. The home had so many amenities that made for a great stay. Darcy was a very responsive and helpful host. We didn't arrive until late evening and she offered to be available to accept a grocery order and even put them all away. Overall it was a beautiful home/location/setting. We all agreed would stay there again.

Lovely Colorado Experience

We held out wedding here and could not have asked for a better experience. We expected a warm spring wedding and ended with 6inches of snow and the barn provided us with the options to be indoor and outdoor. We had just over 40 people and this space was the perfect size. The house was extremely spacious for the 12 of us with enough living space that we could all be together and enough space to be apart. Being able to stay at the same venue where we had the wedding made the whole event low stress as we could set up the days leading up to it and has time to clean up the day after. Darcy is also awesome to work with!! We would 100% come back to this place even without a wedding!

Beautiful views and big spacious property

Overall, the property is great as expected. Massive property with a big house to fit lots of people. Fully stocked kitchen with a lot of extra supplies available such as spices and small kitchen appliances. A couple things that were not so good: host determined check in time and were very pushy even though we traveled through a snow storm. Central heating was set to 68°F in a locked box while it was 22°F outside - the only way to heat the house above 68°F was with stationary heaters. Even though the property is “dog friendly”, the host expected us to put the dogs into the garage when leaving them home alone. Which lead us to taking the dogs everywhere with us the whole time. Additionally, dogs were restricted to where they could go in the house and weren’t allowed on furniture.

If I could only use 1 word to some this property up, it would be perfect!! This place was incredible and we can not say enough about the great time we had staying here with family and having my daughter’s wedding reception in the barn. It was absolutely amazing! I enjoyed morning coffee watching the sunrise and at night the property lights up and becomes even more beautiful! The property has absolutely everything and the barn is wonderful for an event, plenty of parking, spacious and gorgeous! We are already planning a trip back. I HIGHLY recommend!! Thank you for the best trip ever!

We had a wonderful time at the "ranch".It was extremely comfortable for our group of 10.The rooms were large and spacious and the entire property was gorgeous.We held a large BBQ as a wedding pre-party and it was perfect. They have multiple grills and coolers and tables and chairs for a large gathering.All our friends were very impressed.Nice job Darcy!!!

Comfortable and beautiful

Darcy was very responsive and helpful in showing us her home and explaining the “how to’s)There was plenty of room for our family to enjoy and allowing some quiet time when it was needed. The property has disc golf which was enjoyed by kids and adults alike and a bonus was visiting with the neighbor’s horses and being visited by elk several times.The home is beautiful with the western decor and the master was spacious. Plenty of beds to sleep our entire crew without needing the pullouts.

Great for family stay with sons wedding.

Great history and amazing antiques. Water ok to drink, but did have bad taste, the owners did have bottled water availible. Was clean except for dishes in dishwasher. If we had a smaller wedding would be a fun venue.

Wonderful place for family gatherings. We used the out building for the rehearsal portion of my son's wedding, of which there are extra fees. All in all everyone was very happy and would rent there again!

Positives: The house is beautiful and the grounds are beautiful. It’s lovely to sit on the porch in the morning and have coffee. It’s an old house that’s been upgraded but still maintains it’s rustic feel. Lots of neat historical relics. Lots of portable AC units everywhere make up for not being able to open windows. Bathrooms, kitchen, floors, furniture is all very clean. Neutral: No ventilation coupled with not being able to open windows in the bathrooms is not great when you have a full house. The water can get REALLY HOT really fast, “burn you” hot. It’s great to not run out of hot water with a full house getting ready for a wedding, but mind young kids. Negatives: With an old house that is modernized, it’s very reasonable to have flaws that add to the charm. But a couple things were frustrating or dangerous.
