Absolutely amazing property. The surrounding scenery is incredible, the house has everything you can possibly need, and the check-in process went without a hitch. It’s very private and the night sky is worth the price alone. My husband and I enjoyed every moment, from drinking coffee on the porch, lounging on the hammock, and sitting around the chimney. I cannot recommend this property enough. 10/10.

Remote, quiet, exceptional night skies. GREAT communication by property managers and a comfortable home with everything you need for a great stay. I very nice get-away yet close to Big Bend Nat'l Park (about 30 drive to the park gate near Study Butte.

This was an excellent place to stay during our trip to Big Bend. Really nice, isolated environment. Rainwater harvested water onsite, so be sure to bring plenty of potable water for drinking and cooking. The fact that they have an EV charger (with J1772 adapter) was amazing, since we really couldn't have managed without it.

The house was better than the pictures! The stars were amazing, the kitchen well stocked, and the bathroom was wonderful.The only negative was the gnats, might need some Off.

We loved this place! The porches were wonderful to just sit out and enjoy the view. It was very private as well. The owners gave clear directions and we had no trouble getting in. A great place to stay if you’re visiting Big Bend National Park as we were!

Great stay in Terlingua!

We had a great 2 night stay with our family. The accommodations were perfect, and the location was great for a ride into Big Bend National Park.

Literally loved everything about this home and location! It had everything we wanted for a disconnected getaway. The views were amazing, it didn't matter what time of day it was. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and hope to be back soon

The kitchen was fully equipped & there was an outdoor grill. The rooms & bathroom were clean, plenty of towels available. The pillows and mattress were actually quality and comfortable. I believe they were temperpedic & SUPER comfortable. We would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Perfect stay!

We absolutely loved everything about our stay here! The house was clean and beautiful, and the host was very responsive to any questions or issues we had. The property is also isolated enough to fully experience the starry nights! Would absolutely stay here again if we make a return visit to Big Bend.

Secluded and quiet with everything you need

Loved how quiet it was, the stars, the beauty during sunset and sunrise. Easy to get to/ from big bend.

Lovely Getaway

Just needed a few days away and this was the perfect option. Quiet, remote, and peaceful. Owners provided plenty of water. All the amenities for cooking were available. nicely furnished.

Solitude and home base for sightseeing

A great out of the way place for our trip to Big Bend. Quiet, clean and comfortable with lots of extras. Enjoy the desert, sky, and all the fun stuff on the ride in and out.

Beautiful skies

Perfect experience for our first visit to BBNP. We enjoyed the peace and beautiful sunrises. It was great to be able to bring our dogs. The porches were a great bonus.

Quiet and Peaceful Getaway

We were looking for a place that was dog friendly, quiet, and peaceful. The Getaway gave us all of that and more. The view from the porch and the night sky were awesome. The property managers were super responsive and accommodating. Truly a five star stay.

Definitely a Home Away From Home!

We loved escaping San Antonio to come out to Terlingua and this home made it all that much better. It was so peaceful and had everything we needed. Every night we sat on the porch and enjoyed our wine. So relaxing and we loved how quiet the area is. Perfect place for stargazing!
