Fienile ristrutturato nella Champlain Valley

Il fienile che è attaccato alla mia casa di 200 anni è stato ricostruito l'anno scorso in un fantastico rifugio con 1 camera da letto e 1 bagno. È spazioso, ben attrezzato e da sogno. Dopo la ricostruzione completa, il fienile è ora uno spazio abitativo ibrido ad alta efficienza con struttura in legno che utilizza sia materiali originali rivendicati sia i più recenti prodotti a risparmio energetico.

La zona è serena e circondata dalla bellezza ma vicina a tutti i tipi di eccitazione. Ci sono sentieri ben tenuti raggiungibili a piedi, è possibile prendere il traghetto per Burlington per ristoranti e negozi o salire sul treno per Montreal. Il movimento del cibo è in pieno svolgimento qui e questa è un'altra piacevole attrazione. Nella città di Essex, c'è un meraviglioso studio di yoga, il Lake Champlain Yoga & Wellness, diversi ristoranti e una storia interessante.

Il fienile è una vacanza tranquilla e privata con vista sulle montagne, a 5 miglia da Essex e dal lago Champlain - confortevole tutto l'anno, con aria condizionata in estate e riscaldamento efficiente e una stufa a legna per i mesi freddi. Le foto dicono tutto!

This property was excellent for our long weekend exploring the area. We easily accessed Adirondack mountain trails and even took the ferry over to explore Vermont. The property was beautiful, quiet, and better than we expected. Audrey got back to us right away when we had a question. We will definitely stay here again when we return to the area.

Everything about this stay was incredible. The photos don't actually do the barn justice and the photos are pretty nice! This is the best appointed rental we've ever stayed in. Audrey was a great host, full of local knowledge and extremely accommodating. Would recommend time and time again!

A superlative visit

We visited the property with our dog and enjoyed a relaxing and wonderful stay in June: beautiful setting, stunning facilities, a gracious host, all the needed amenities and then some. Highly recommend if your travels find you near Essex.

Great place to recharge

The owner was exceptionally friendly and helpful with information about local activities and restaurants. The cabin was wonderfully appointed and very comfortable. Next time we choose to travel to this lovely region of the Adirondack this will be our accommodations of choice.

A truly unique property. From the moment we saw the patio to the walk to the upstairs bedroom, we were in Awe!!! Tastefully decorated, workable kitchen, anything you could beed in a rental and more. Surrounding area and views were terrific. Loved walking to the barn and seeing the animals. We loved the goat. Sheer delight and entertainment. All appliances and bedding were top notch. I wished we had another few days there. This lovely rental is perfection. Audrey was very responsive and helpful to us and willingly answered all our questions!

Essex retreat

We went up for a family wedding and stayed in this beautiful restored barn in Essex. The house was beautiful and very comfortable, pet friendly and has great views. Nearby hiking and near the waterfront town of Essex where you can get a ferry to Vermont. Would highly recommend

Fantastic

The barn and surrounding areas were awesome. The town of Essex is very quaint and we loved the outdoor patio in the evenings with the fire pit. Audrey is a very gracious host and we loved our stay there.

Lovely, relaxing stay

The property is beautiful, the barn apartment is modern and comfortable. Would definitely recommend for folks who like to hike and just get out of a city environment - a ton of trails nearby and the views will make you forget you are in NY. Audrey was a gracious host and very helpful throughout our stay. We enjoyed a few local restaurants in the area and did some hiking in Vermont as well.

Audrey's barn, located in the beautiful Champlain Valley, offers stunning sunrise views and beautiful mountain scenery minutes from Lake Champlain. It provided the perfect peaceful retreat after full days of family reunion activities. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking and baking equipment. Audrey made us feel right at home and graciously accommodated our needs.

Adirondack Getaway

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the barn. From the moment I walked in I fell in love with it’s charm. It is filled with natural light and very charmingly furnished. It is also very comfortable and has everything you may need for an enjoyable stay. I hope to return one day in the fall to enjoy the wood burning stove and see the leaves change.

Charming Retreat

This is a warm and thoughtfully designed little retreat with plentiful and refined accoutrements. It is refined in its simplicity. Audrey, the host was accommodating without being overly present. The setting is quiet and beautiful. We would happily return.

Audrey is the consummate host, and her place is simply delightful! Audrey was responsive and very easy to communicate with throughout both the booking process and during our stay. She even had a fire started in the wood-fired stove upon our arrival. The home is comfortable and tastefully appointed with well-curated home decor. The remodeled barn is cozy and welcoming! This is our 2nd visit at Audrey’s farm. Our last visit was 4-5 years ago, and we stayed in the main house, which is larger and equally delightful. This 1BR apartment had ample space for relaxing, and a large en suite bedroom. The views from the barn are spectacular; be sure to wake up to see the sunrise!

The first time I saw the views, the old stone home and that barn, I was hooked!

The whole property is very beautiful, but the remodeled barn is now incredibly special--everything is brand new, while keeping it's old charm and barn feel. I think the addition of my adorable horses really makes this destination unique and fun. Trails surround the property, the lake is there to be used, the ferry to VT is so handy, the antique and historic town of Essex and the mountains, all conspire to create a sense of rural peace with modern amenities.
