The house and the property were fantastic! The house was just like it was listed. The house had everything we needed and was extremely well organized. The location on the water was ideal! We will definitely stay here in the future when we come back to this area.

The views, the fire pit on the shore, the master suite...... I truly cannot say enough good things about this vacation rental. The master bed is so comfortable, I messaged Amanda and asked what brand mattress it was. If I ever win the lottery, I'm making a cash offer. This is our second time staying at this home and we will be back.

The view was amazing and the home very relaxing. It was well stocked with everything you might need for your stay. We were a family of 4 with two younger kids who really loved the beach out front and the bunk beds as well as the great selection of kids books for bedtime. The property was well back off a quiet road outside of town. The owners did a really nice job of providing local details of things to do and places to eat and the town of Milbridge is very charming all on its own. This was a convenient location to see both Acadia to the south and Lubec to the north. There are tons of things to do nearby along the coast and inland as well. Or just relax and enjoy the view and listen to the tide change and lobster boats go by. We had a lovely week staying here and would highly recommend to others. It really was pine scented too!

A very relaxing location! Away from it all, stars were amazing. Lots of trails nearby to hike. Ocean is steps from the door. A well appointed home. If you need time away from it all this location is for you.

Amazing Vacation Getaway

This is an absolutely beautiful "home away from home"...very close to Schoodic Peninsula, close to Acadia and Bar Harbor, yet far enough to get away from the crowds. Places further north such as Campobello Island are a great day trip. Amanda is a wonderful host and her family's home is absolutely gorgeous on a beautiful piece of Maine Downeast Coast!

Much Needed Respite

The property is exactly as advertised. Amazingly close to the ocean, the best stocked rental ever and a clean and bright home. We enjoyed day trips to Bar Harbor and Lubec but the best part of our stay were days spent at the house.

Amazing vacation retreat!

We can't say enough about Amanda and family's lovely, lovely home. Everything is totally ready for guests--a fully stocked kitchen, an unmatched view, beautifully decorated home and a beautiful area close to lots of hiking, delicious seafood and DownEast adventures! We can't wait to go back!

This was our third stay at this house. It’s a place that has become a great memory for our family. Our kids all voted to go back to this house based on our first two experiences. The house continues to be amazing. Very functional with a lot of kitchen supplies which is really nice. Lots of supporting spices, oils, and we left a few and resupplied some low ones. The view is amazing as usual and our favorite part is the rocky coast and the option to have a fire every night. This was our third trip so we were amazed how many new experiences we had. 1. Campobello island. You need your passport as it’s 1 hour north with a bridge to a Canadian island. Summer home to Franklin Rosevelt. This is only one of two international parks between CA/USA. Got to tour his home and the island was amazing. We had an amazing lunch and hiked the coast and some amazing bogs. 2. We went to the Doweast marine research center on Beal island. We called then and got a private tour. We saw how they grow algae and grow millions of oysters, clams and lobster. Loved it 3. We had been to bar harbor a number of times, This time we hiked the schoodic coast and too the ferry from winter harbor to bar harbor. Saw seals and dolphins along the way. 4 chipmans wharf just down the road has changed quite a bit. The best lobster lunch in the area Overall. Highly recommend this house. Amanda is super attentive. Beautiful location and property

We had a great and relaxing time at this property. Everything was absolutely perfect. The home was clean and nicely decorated and the owners provided everything that you could need. The views were amazing! I would definitely recommend staying at this home. The owner Amanda was great too!

Great escape

Aside from the incredible location/view/beach this was the best provisioned house we’ve ever stayed at…from instructions, to local recommendations, to supplies the owners thought of everything.

4 of us stayed here. My husband and i and another couple. It was perfect

The house was stocked with everything we could possibly need. Very clean and beautifully decorated. Very secluded which we liked. The views of the ocean were stunning and just a nice amount of pines sorrounding. Check in was so easy and the property owner very easy to contact and talk to. We would definitely stay here again.

This property was better than advertised. Very clean and well stocked. The location is very quiet and secluded but there is plenty to do within a short driving distance, from hiking in Acadia to whale watching in Bar Harbor, or just sitting on the deck and enjoying the scenery (including a porcupine or the bald eagles). Amanda was great to work with. We look forward to visiting again soon.

This was our second stay at pine scented & ocean kissed because we love it so much! The view is unparalleled and the house has everything you could ever need and more. Amanda has thought of everything. We love the fire pit and my kids love the tide pools. We always spend several days at the house enjoying the rocks and the view. We will definitely be back!!

Stupendous views

Whether inside, on the deck, or on the rocky shore, this property offers views galore. We also enjoyed hiking at Petit Manan, along the Bold Coast and Campobello Island, plus a gorgeous sunset cruise aboard the Polaris Jack, which sails from South Addison. The house is a great location for outdoor activities, and having Shipman's Wharf nearby for seafood was a nice bonus.

Best rental ever!

Amanda and her family have created an absolute haven on the ocean! We have rented several times on VRBO and have never seen a home so thoughtfully equipped for vacationers. The kitchen has so many tools and pans for cooking and baking, and the sturdy folding chairs for campfire times were really appreciated. The location is stunning and the house is beautifully appointed. We can't wait to go back!

Amazing Vacation

We loved our stay at Pine Scented and Ocean Kissed! Beautiful, clean home. Our girls loved going out on the rocks and searching in the tidal pools. Beautiful view of the ocean! So relaxing. Beautiful Maine

The house was as pictured with all the amenities supplied. The area was quaint and rural, off the beaten path with sights and events an hour or so away. Downtown Milbridge had whatever we needed. The views from the house and deck were a postcard picture. The house was clean and comfortable. The host responded quickly to any question. We would recommend a stay at this property.

Quiet relaxation

This is the first time we have stayed this far north as we are used to midcoast (Boothbay/Pemaquid). We loved the quiet and less populated area but still having the conveniences of a grocery store and coffee. We enjoyed our stay at Pine scented and Ocean Kissed. It was comfortable and clean and well appointed. The location is great if you like a rocky beach and the sound of ocean waves! We miss getting up early and watching the sun rise and just staring at the water.

Best Vacation!

We've stayed in many rental homes and this is by far our favorite! The location in the woods, yet on the coast is perfection. We love being away from the "hubub". The home is clean and comfortable and is equipped with everything you can possibly need. We hiked the woods, fished off the rocks, enjoyed a lobster tour, drove Schoodic Point, went foraged for mushrooms and of course enjoyed all the seafood Maine is famous for! Our host Amanda was a pleasure to work with. I hope one day to have the opportunity to return to this lovely home.
