Peaceful retreat at the nbeach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had had a very stressful summer and dreaded the added stress of the holiday season so we left home for the beach. Everything was wonderful. The weather, the beautiful condo that we stayed in and of course the ocean and the beach. We enjoyed several trips to town for meals and souvenirs. Our favorite restaurant was Osteens for shrimp.our least favorite thing was that we live too far away for more frequent visits. The peace and beauty of Summerhouse will stay with us till we are able to return.

Great Except for the Roach Infestation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I loved staying at Summerhouse and I particularly loved the location and unit 107 (beautifully appointed and quite comfortable--I plan on bringing my writing retreat back to Summerhouse next year). However--and I am a lifelong Floridan who grew up in St. Augustine)--the unit has a terrible roach problem. We killed roaches in every room, including closets, kitchen, living area, bathrooms, and both bedrooms, every day. And now I'm afraid I might have brought some "travelers" home with me. The unit, while beautiful, is in deep need of pest control.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Excellent experience, as always. 22 years of family renting units at Summerhouse. 107 is one of the best: comfortable, well appointed, fabulous view. We cooked most meals at home: kitchen is well stocked. Owner of unit is one of kindest and most generous owners we've ever dealt with at Summerhouse. Staff of Summerhouse is kind, efficient and easy to work with. Great people. Great spot.

Great time at the Beach!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lovely condo on the beach with wonderful amenities. Current upgrades appreciated. Truly appreciated the "chilled pool" after a couple hours on the blazing hot beach. Would recommend a pest control service as there were a number of earwigs, cockroaches and spiders found everyday. Light in bottom of microwave that shines on stove needs replacing and the toilet seat in the master bath needs to be tightened. Would rent this condo again!!!

Turtle Themed Condo

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for a week in May 2022. The condo is clean and well-appointed. We liked the end unit and the close proximity to the pool and beach access. The view of the beach and ocean is hindered by grassy mounds/dunes. Our biggest complaint is the furniture. Though in nice shape visibly, the living room furniture is broken down to the point there is no comfortable place to sit in the room. We didn’t need the pull-out bed, but I would imagine a good night’s rest would *not* take place because the suspension on the couch is shot. On the up side, the bed in the master bedroom is comfortable. Also, a nice feature is the two sinks in the master bath and the towel hooks and racks. These are features missing in most condo rentals of this nature. We were happy enough with the unit but we likely will try to rent a unit with a better view on our next trip.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 100 steps to the beach, 50 steps to the pool, and a tortoise that we named “Augie” that lives right outside your back door. He loves cucumbers and will eat them from your hand. This condo was great!
