Great Week in St Augustine

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have loved Summerhouse for the last 35 years. The only complaint I can think of is how may dogs we ran into on property. On our first day there was a dog in the unit above us that barked and barked until the owner came in from the beach to get him.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: No complaints re: unit. Only minor frustrations. We woke up to large holes being dug, equipment and vehicles blocking the back access and cable lines. A heads up or notification from the property management would have been helpful and appreciated. The work was completed by the end of the day. Minor inconvenience. Overall, the stay was relaxing.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Was very disappointed that SH166 was not available for April 2025. Have been coming to Summerhouse for over 20 years and rented unit 166 for 10 years in a row or more. Also members of my family and friends have rented from Summerhouse over the years. I would have appreciated a call asking if i would be wanting to rent unit 166 in 2025

Unit 166, August 2023

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been staying at Summerhouse for about 40 years, on and off, so we have a good platform to rate this unit. It was a lovely unit - except for the mattresses and the living room furniture. The mattresses in two of the bedrooms were unlike anything I have ever seen soft you could not get out of them without help. I think someone put a pillow top on to try to cover up a bad mattress. The living room furniture looks good in the photo, but both the sofa and the loveseat have very little cushioning...on the sofa you can actually feel the hard metal support underneath. This unit would be really good if it were not for these two very important issues. Like it is, the unit was not worth the money we paid for it.

Check in time

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our rental, but the check in experience was awful. All Saturday check ins had one hour before the office closed. Has to be more organized with some system to let the office know when rentals are available and those people can go ahead and check in. In the past, we have been able to get in earlier and the office staff was very accommodating. Something needs to be changed by next year to make this a smoother process.

Beach front condo

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is beautiful, spacious, and perfect for our family. The only negative thing was initially when running the water a horrible rotten egg smell filled the whole place up. After the hot water was ran for awhile and time passed, the next day it was just fine. It was a beautiful vacation and we love staying at Summerhouse. This unit had everything we needed and we will stay here again.

Beautiful Unit

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family has been staying at Summerhouse since 1983. Unit 166 was one of the most beautiful and well equipped units we have ever stayed in. We were disappointed that the dishwasher wasn’t working for most of our trip and that it took three days to get it fixed. Especially after being told it hadn't worked properly in eight months. For what we paid we shouldn’t have to worry about doing dishes on vacation. Other than that it was perfect.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Always a good time at Summerhouse. Been part of our summer for over 20 years. We've been in this condo for the last several years. The only issue i have is that the beds are really not comfortable, even in the master, although it's better than the others. Paying $2500 rent for a week, i really think they need to do better. Otherwise happy.

Spacious 3 bedroom flat oceanfront

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the condo is spacious and easily maneuvered. Too much furniture packed into 2nd and 3rd bedrooms. Small guest bath to accommodate 2 bedrooms. Removing the shower/toilet room door would help. Queensize bedroom small with furnishings packed in there; no window. Kitchen well equipped. Love the dining area. More area rugs would be nice. Plenty of towels on hand. Beautiful countertops with new appliances. Overall a nice stay.

Floors very dirty and waterbed roaches

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I slipped off my sneakers right after we checked in and was putting up groceries. My socks were filthy black! Although there were no apparent grains of sand or dirt, the entire floor had not been mopped in I don't know how long. Also saw waterbed roaches all over the flat. We loved the location and the beach, but this property needs a deep cleaning and spraying for bugs/
