Peace and quiet

Our group enjoyed watching the ins and outs of the tugboats, barges, and occasional boats.....fascinating to watch. And the evening sunsets were beautiful! Several people came to fish but never was there any noise or disturbances of any kind. 95% of them waived as they passed by. Overall the home was immaculate and the property was well taken care of. The only things lacking were wifi(which I was told about up front) and a dumbwaiter or lift. You can definitely get a workout going up and down the stairs multiple times. We will definitely be back!

Not a good stay

Not much. The beds were very uncomfortable. And very many other things were not okay. This is definitely a place men would stay at just to fish in the area. Do not recommend staying at with family.

House review

The house and the location were good very quiet. We found a few things that could be improved on. I only had one dish towel, no extra garbage bags, coffee Pot that only made 4 cups of coffee for a group of two people not acceptable. The bathroom items could have been left were a couple of extra bottles of shampoo and an extra soap. The fan in the master could be looked at it makes some weird noises throughout the night. The front door might need a new battery as we had to add the code a couple times to have it unlocked.. The fact there was no Wi-Fi or Internet we had no way of having a television work. We left a day early. Because of what we wanted to do on Saturday night to watch college football and could not

Clean house

We loved the house. They kept it very clean and fresh. It smelled good when we walked it. The o ly thing we didn’t really like the house, was a little far in. Other then that everything was perfect.

No hot water or toilet paper!

The house was pretty and the neighborhood was very quiet and secluded but we had no toilet paper or hot water for our stay and when we reached out to the property manager we have yet to get a response about the problems we had. We went and bought toilet paper and left the package there so hopefully the next tenants will have toilet paper.

Just as pictured

The house looks exactly as it does online. It's clean and a cute little house. We have young boys that loved watching the barges coming in and out of the bay. We loved having a washer and dryer available on the property. The master bed is extremely firm but the lower bunk is softer The back pillows on the couch are soft but the couch itself is not one to relax on but it's cute. All of the pillows and bedding were high quality and very nice. Depending on your priorities in a vacation rental this one should be on the list of contenders. We enjoyed our stay.

Hard to find and in a nasty area

This home looks nice inside but had no WiFi, only one tv in living room and the AC didn’t work out first night. This home is down at the end of a nasty road and does not seem like a nice area. Home does not pull up on the map so don’t be fooled on its location when you type it in if you’re not familiar with the area. Nothing to do close by, you have to load up and drive at least 10 minutes to be anywhere decent. No beach access and enjoy staring straight a big huge barge that likes to blow the horn at night when it starts moving.

We enjoyed our stay at this wonderful property. The location was perfect for a quiet, relaxing getaway. The beach house is beautifully decorated and it’s fully equipped with everything we needed. I love that it’s new, clean and ready for you to enjoy the second you arrive. I am looking forward to our return.

Exceeded my expectations

It was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated for a beach house, Loved the decor and the attention to detail. Quiet and peaceful. Loved watching the gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, and the privacy.

Not the best view

The inside of the home was fine. Everything one would need was provided. Unfortunately, there was no wi-fi. I must have missed that looking at the amenities. There is somewhat of a waterview. However, it is mostly blocked because barges come and go or remain, bloocking the view.

This is a great place for couples who want to have a little vacation and be located away from everyone else. It would be good for a family getaway. The only thing that I didn’t like were the beds and pillows. Unless you like hard beds and stiff pillows then this would be perfect, but It wasn't for me. Other than that the place was great and has everything thing you would need for cooking, cleaning, and entertainment. Also, unless I forgot to ask, I did not see any wifi to connect to. None the less, I would recommend this place to friends and family.
