Everything was perfect, the cabin inside and out was very clean and secluded. The hot tub on the back deck was amazing and super clean. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. Perfect getaway definitely recommend!!

This was a lovely stay. It was clean, cozy, and comfortable. Everything we needed was here. I can’t wait to stay here again. It’s a short drive to the National park. The hot tub was such a treat.

Perfect Cabin for Two

Spent 2 days in the cabin and it was perfect for me, my fiance and our 2 pups. Only a few minutes from New River Gorge National Park, which we went to and had a wonderful time.

Opossum Creek is the perfect location in a beautiful forest and close to all attractions. The cabin was very clean and comfortable.

Underrated place

The descriptions and pics for this location do not do it justice. It is an extremely comfortable cabin with an excellent location that provides a sense of serenity and solitude even though it is located mere minutes from many great recreational opportunities. The beds were extremely comfortable and clean. It allowed us to explore all that we desired while allowing for an easy return for a restful night.

Loved it!

We had a wonderful stay at Over the Hill. We had everything we needed and the hot tub was great. The gas fireplace made our stay cozy. The only critique I have is that the beds are really uncomfortable and my back hurt after sleeping on them.

Peaceful Retreat

The cabin was very clean and welcoming and the homemade cookies were delicious. We really enjoyed spending our evenings in the hot tub after a long day of hiking. The host was very quick to respond to any questions. We are looking forward to having our whole family come back with us!

Rustic cabin in the woods.

We enjoyed our stay in this sweet cabin. It is as described in its listing. The kitchen/living area could use more lights. The AC unit was effective but noisy and there were no screens on any of the doors. So, to keep out the mosquitoes they needed to be closed.

Lovely.

I was a little hesitant to book a dog friendly place. The last VRBO was a little too dog friendly. I don’t want to wash hairy bedding on arrival. This place was spotless! You would never guess it’s dog friendly. I even noticed the top blanket smelled like fresh laundry. Usually those go a few times w/o being washed. We loved all the little touches. The hot tub was also perfect. We own a hot tub and know what the water should be like. Most say they are fully drained and you can tell they are definitely not. This was not the case here. It was in perfect shape and we appreciated the extra chlorine left for our use. The location was also very close to everything we wanted to do. We loved the instant heat of the fire place coming back cold and wet from hiking. We do wish the hot tub had an umbrella or some sort of cover for the rain. Great overall!!!

Deep in the woods. Lots of privacy. Very clean.

Very nice little cabin w/hot tub. Great location for area outdoor attractions. Small refrigerator and hot tub needed to be warmer. Would come back.

Cute Cabin

Small place, but had all we needed. 10 minutes to the NRG Visitor Center and to Fayetteville. Very clean and well-maintained. Directions were good. Hot tub was nice and the back porch was nice in the morning.

Cute Cabin

This cabin for four was a perfect cabin in the woods but with all the amenities we like when on vacation. The hot tub was fun. The location was great for visiting the New River Gorge National Park. It’s a beautiful spot.
