Le pareti del fienile rustico lo rendono un caratteristico rifugio sciistico; tocchi moderni lo rendono una casa lontano da casa. Peluche, lenzuola morbide, coperte e asciugamani ti aspettano. The unit was nice. We visited late July to beat the mid west heat. The unit was clean and we used the pool which is located along a trail within the woods very private. The unit had a nice cart which we used to transport our bags/food down from the parking area. Areas for improvement would be high speed internet with was only 55mbps download and 26mbps upload. For people looking to work remote units need higher speeds. The two chairs on the main level are nice, The kitchen was fully stock with items to help. The instructions for items within the unit like grill are well planned and it helps to keep the unit in order. the AC was working well and front door locking was not a problem. The view of the mountains was limited due to leaf's on the trees. Overall for us the unit worked out well as a place to dump our stuff, sleep and eat. We spent each day out on the mountain.

Wonderful Ski Home

Jem's house has everything! Including a fondue pot we were happy to find:) We were very cozy and all the kids loved the bunk room. This is a great place for families. Feels like a real house, very personable and well cared for. We had a lovely time.

Great location

We really liked the location of the condo; easy to get to the mountain and to restaurants, etc. The kids liked having the basement level to themselves; three levels really helped to be able to spread out after a great day of skiing. The kitchen and two of the bathrooms have nice upgrades.We were five in our party and I can't imagine having stayed with any more people in the condo. We only had four skiers and there isn't any space to put ski gear on; boots and coats can be stored in the mudroom, but it had a musty smell and a dead mouse in a trap. The 'luxurious' toiletries were Suave brand. The kitchen is very overstocked; it would really benefit from a thorough edit. There's not a lot of space to put your groceries. The beds were comfortable however, the linens (especially pillows and bedspreads) were aged and some had stains. It was challenging to really relax at the end of a day as the sofa was definitely not 'comfy', and the table and chairs and the 'game bar' take up so much valuable space. Just some little things upon checking in - the mouse (!), soap in downstairs bathroom was empty and no refill that I could find, a lightbulb missing in a bedside lamp, popcorn (not ours) under the sofa, no garbage bags other than the one provided - small things but frustrating.

Convenient to ski at Stowe

We spent four nights, skiing at Stowe two days and an easy drive to Jay peak the other day.We prepared the majority of our meals at the home.The home was clean and did not lack for supplies or anything we needed. Plenty of firewood. Very clean.Thank you for the opportunity to stay at your home!

Wonderful stay!!

Our family and our son's friend had an amazing ski vacation and stay at Jem's property! It was a perfect location and we all enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and comfy beds. Jem and Travis were excellent responding to all of our needs. We highly recommend staying here while in the Stowe area.

Well-appointed condo near Alchemist; great for families

We had a wonderful stay at Jem’s condo. It’s very comfortably appointed and has everything you need for a weekend or week stay. It was very nice to have the bedrooms on separate floors from the main living area. We traveled with young kids and it allowed the adults to enjoy some time together in the evenings without worrying about waking anyone. The spiral staircase is carpeted and fairly wide. Not fantastic for our 1 year olds but not as death-defying as you might imagine. Jem was a very responsive and accomodating host. We’d stay at her condo again if we have the opportunity!

Great Location & Great for Groups

Jem’s rental is perfect for both large and small groups. Everyone in our group had their own space, and cooking in the kitchen for our group was also very easy as Jem provides all kitchen essentials. The rental was spotless upon arrival and Jem’s check in instructions and directions were very easy to follow. The location is the best part - very close to the mountain as well as restaurants. I will definitely be staying in Jem’s place again when I come back to Stowe!

Lovely stay near Stowe

Our family of 6 came to ski at Stowe and had a lovely stay at this condo. We loved the comfy chairs next to the wood-burning fireplace, which had plenty of firewood, and the owner was easy to communication with. If we went back to Stowe, I'd stay here again.

Great Spot!

Loved our stay at Tips Up - plenty of space for our family of 5, teen took the couch, younger ones each got a bedroom and our room was great too. Loved the extra blankets for the chilly Stowe weather. Shower was absolutely luxurious! Kitchen was easy to use and actually overstocked on cookware. Maintenance person shoveled each morning so access was great even in snow. Make sure you have a winterized car - we got stuck twice, once trying to make it up the hill and once trying to get out of the lower parking area of the condo!

Fantastic condo and location for 2 families with kids!

We had a fabulous time at this condo over Columbus Day weekend 2023. We were a group of two families with found kids age 4-6yrs old. The kids loved the bunk beds downstairs and us adults loved the fireplace, perfect location in the middle of all our favorite Stowe restaurants, breweries, hiking, etc. The condo was clean and warm, well-stocked, and adorably decorated! Even the towels were nice and fluffy. The view of the autumn leaves was amazing! The owner was a joy to work with. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends!

Great home; great host!

Great home, great location, great host!! More than enough space for the two of us plus our three children (17, 15, 10 years old). The girls loved the bunk beds downstairs! Agree with so much of what others have said as well -- well-equipped kitchen allowed us to comfortably make our own breakfasts every morning; the house and property were clean and clearly well-maintained, and Jem was *wonderful* with communication, both before and during our stay. Wonderful location, too -- so easy to access all of what Stowe has to offer. Would very gladly stay here again!!

Spacious and very well equipped

My family had an excellent week staying in Jem’s house. We found it to be spacious and comfortable. Our children loved the downstairs bedroom with bunks and fitted out so well for kids! Our boots and coats all dried so quickly overnight in the warm mud room and we were able to cook for ourselves in the well equipped kitchen!

Great spot for a family ski trip

We had such a lovely stay at Jem’s place! We had four adults, one teenager and one child and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The kitchen was well equipped and the house was clean. Jem was very prompt and friendly with communication. Would definitely stay again.

Group Ski Trip

This property was perfect for a group of seven adult friends on a ski trip - there was plenty of space for everyone to sleep, get ready, and socialize. The house instructions/recommendations were very clear and helpful. I would highly recommend this property.

My husband and I have been visiting Stowe for over 10 years. After nearly 6 years of looking for our dream home, we realized it just in time to enjoy the ski season. We chose this end unit property due to its proximity to Stowe Mountain and village, spaciousness, and layout. We renovated it to be modern and comfortable for our family and guests.

We love to: make a wood fire; read books on the sheepskin pillow chairs; cook meals in the kitchen; watch sunsets on the Adirondack chairs on the spacious and sunny deck; play Scrabble, Jenga, chess, backgammon, tic-tac-toe and assemble puzzles; sled down the hill just outside; swim at the pool; explore Stowe and Smugglers Notch; and just simply relax.
