Shipwatch Pointe June 25'

Amazing property for a small family. The location was great and accessible to Flip Flop Bar and Grill. The description online was very accurate. Were stayed at this property for 2 consecutive years now. The only complaint that we have is the HOA president. He watches everyone from the balcony.

Great Place to stay in MB!

This fantastic condo was the perfect place for our stay in MB! It has a great location- one/two blocks to the beach. We had a partial ocean view which was nice. Our condo was close to the pool, we had every amenitie we needed to make our stay great! Would stay here again & highly recommend.

Fantastic stay

We had a lovely vacation here, we really enjoyed the beachy theme of the condo, along with the short walk to the beach access. This unit was very clean and well maintained. The large covered porch with a view out to the ocean was really nice.

Great Condo for a Family

The view from the balcony was my absolute favorite! Condo was great and has all needed amenities. Very short walk to the beach and the pool is right there. Very quiet area overall which we loved. We would most definitely come back to this condo in the future.

MB Adult getaway

The condo is exactly how you see it when you walk in. Loved the condo and how bright it was. Kitchen had everything you needed. The master bed was one of the best we have ever slept in while renting. The beach was a very short walk and so beautiful and peaceful. There are several restaurants near by that are local and good. The pool and hot tubs areas are lovely, everything is by privacy code in and out, love that a lot. The owner's neighbours are so kind and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us, we are truly grateful.

Close to beach!

We enjoyed the closeness to the beach and it was a nice area of the beach. I read all reviews before booking and every single one said the unit was so clean. I also own my own cleaning business, so perhaps my expectations are higher than others. Could have been cleaner. Doors and door handles were filthy. Nothing a few Lysol wipes, minimal effort, couldn’t fix. But it was not horrible. The showers look fun bc of the seashell shelves, but nothing will stay on them, all bottles, razors etc just slide off. But that wasn’t horrible either. My only real dissatisfaction was the washer and dryer. Washer is LOUD! And dryer will only take 3 towels or a very small load or it shuts off. With max occupancy at 6 guests, (which we had), the unit really needs a washer and dryer to accommodate the laundry needs of 6 guests- that’s a lot of laundry for an apartment sized washer/dryer that are not working at even their full capacity. Maybe get a new set. But, again, not horrible, and on vaca, I’ll pretty much deal with anything. The only thing I didn’t like abt check in is the extra stop. Not sure what that’s for. Everything can be done via email. But employees were very nice. Pools were awesome, hot tub was awesome/ large enough for kids to swim in! Parking was great. Neighbors are very nice. Liked having general store and bar/grill next door. I’d stay at shipwatch pointe again. Close to all the main attractions- barefoot landing, broadway at beach, wax museum, mall, great restaurants

Will not rent this unit again

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Could’ve been cleaner, dirt on walls and light switches. Coffee machine was broke. Dryer wouldn’t work unless you stood there and held the start button. Tiny bugs on kitchen counter, sink. Pillows were flat. Sofa bed mattress was terrible, you could feel the springs. Big stain on sofa bed mattress and no mattress cover or sheets available for it. Rooms were very tight, not much room for luggage. A lot of noise from people walking around on the floor above.

Great Vacation

Beautifully decorated condo with easy access to the beach and fun activities. Had a wonderful and relaxing stay and would stay there again. Beds were very comfortable and the condo was quiet. Only downside, was the lack of an elevator in the building, so it was difficult to carry luggage/ groceries to the second floor.

Pleased even without full access

Loved the place. Loved the location. Had a great time. Only drawback was the amenities listed 3 pools and hot tub. Pool code only allowed access to 1 pool and did not allow access to hot tub. Was looking forward to going to the big pool and hot tub but was let down. Other than that, fully enjoyed the stay.

Great Condo close to the beach

The unit was lovely, we found it clean and had all the amenities we needed. Like that they were TV's in all the bedrooms. Nice partial view of the ocean. Would stay here again.

So fun!

The experience was fun and the beach within walking distance. My family had never been to myrtle beach before so it was something new! Check in and out was super easy, condo was nice, and the pools were amazing. Thanks for making our first trip here memorable. The only issue we had is they were doing construction and painting the buildings, which we weren’t aware of until we got there. So it was noisy and stuff was kind of everywhere.
