We had a great time and unforgettable adventure staying at Martin’s place! It is an adorable and clean house. Martin replied messages promptly and with great advice. The only reason that I gave 4 stars is that the water is pumped directly from the lake and cannot be drunk directly, so we had to buy a lot of the bottle water for drinking and cooking. Great experience overall!

Great cottage and lake. Deep clean water. Ample space in Cottage. Do remember to bring your own linens and towels as these are not included.

This is a great cottage on a beautiful lake, perfect for spending the day in the sun on the dock and as a launch pad to explore Muskoka. Martin was super helpful and responsive. I think it would benefit from more water toys (we brought our own lilypad and kids kayaks).

This cottage was great for our family vacation. There's lots of space to be with your group and places to be by yourself. The kitchen has everything you need, even a lemon/lime squeezer. The Muskoka room was nice in the evening to play games etc.Our host Martin was very attentive.I would highly recommend this cottage and would not hesitate to go back.

Lots of space for the family. Lake view was amazing. The kitchen was full of things you would use at home to get meals. Bathroom were spacious and clean. I enjoyed my time at the cottage. Thanks

My three generation family of 6 adults and two children love our week at Martin's cottage on Muldrew Lake. It is clean, pet friendly and the lake water is perfect for jumping off the dock and swimming across to the small island, or launching kayaks from shore. There is plenty of sun or shade on the deck , and a screened-in porch for evening relaxation and/or family board games.

Fantastic time!

Cottage was beautiful and spacious. We went canoeing, swimming, relaxed, and were able to catch fish right off the dock. Would definitely come back again.

1. Kitchen: dishwasher doesn't work well and we had time handwash after since it didn't clean it well. There's a lot of build up in the filter which was gross. There was old pieces of bread in the toaster oven which was gross. Everything is pretty dated and worn down. 2. Bathroom: clean, lower water pressure but fine.3. View: excellent, nice that there was a canoe with life jackets and paddles. 4. General cleanliness: somewhat dusty5. Supplies: only 5% of dishwasher was left when we arrived so we had time go out to get more dishwasher soap. We needed some laundry detergent unexpectedly because my daughter got car sick and threw up in her car seat but there was none available and when we asked the host about it, response was sort of "not sure if there's any there but get it yourself if there is none"6. Communication: poor --asked a question 1 week prior to check in and 2 days before check in and it took a combination of 2 vrbocare contacts, calling and texting him ourselves to finally get an answer from host. Didn't seem all that sorry about it. Basically aside from automated payment messages, only sent 2 messages to respond to direct questions. No real pleasantries asking how everything is. Would not return

Thank you for the detailed feedback, and I’m very sorry that your stay fell short of what you expected. I am, however, very glad to hear that you did get a chance to enjoy the canoe and the very special view as those features really make the cottage experience very special. You’re right on several points, and I take them seriously. The dishwasher filter and the toaster oven should have been properly cleaned before your arrival, and the dishwasher detergent should have been fully stocked. I’ve contacted the cleaning service to ensure that this oversight does not reoccur. Rest assured, we will be closely watching the cleaners to ensure this doesn’t happen again. I’m also sorry about the slow replies as there did seem to be some hiccup in the app. I am looking into this to see why the messages did not get through to me. It’s very unfortunate that your daughter got sick and I hope there was enough detergent to get her clothes washed up. Thank you again for taking the time to share this. Your experience was very different from the many guests who have enjoyed our cottage so it’s a shame that you couldn’t enjoy your stay in the same way.

Fabulous stay. Had an issue with water pressure but owners were put there right away and fixed it right away. Will go back.

Paradise on Muldrew lake

Another excellent vacation on Muldrew lake in a beautiful cottage. Our three generation family of 8 enjoyed all amenities as well as swimming and kayaking.The cottage is as described and we appreciate the cleanliness. We hope to return next year for our 6th season and continue to build wonderful family memories.

We had a great week! Beautiful location, very clean cottage with a fabulous kitchen and a huge deck. Overall, a wonderful location and a great place to stay! Highly recommended.

Very nice, clean, organized Has separate bedroom with bunkbeds on lower floor, worked out fine but should list this. Owner helpful / check in and out went smoothly. Will return to rent.

Another great week on Muldrew lake

Our family of 8 had a great time for our fourth consecutive year. The lake is very nice and close to Gravenhurst. The cottage and amenities are excellent and very clean. We hope to return for a fifth year.

Beautiful cottage and property

Lovely vacation with family and infant. The cottage is very spacious and clean. Beautiful sunsets and all day sun on the deck and dock. Would definitely visit again! Thanks Martin!

Great vacation on Muldrew Lake

We enjoyed our second stay at Martin's very clean. spacious cottage with all amenities overlooking Muldrew Lake, which we have booked again for next summer. We made lots of use of the deck and screened in porch after spending much of the day jumping from the dock into the water and using our kayaks and SUP.

Great weekend getaway

The cottage was beautiful and very clean not to mention Martin answered any questions I had almost immediately after I texted him. The water/ view was amazing and we loved the canoe that came with it. Only issue was the fire pit had no seating and the cottage doesn’t come with sheets or towels other than that 10/10 would recommend!
