Thanks for your feedback. It's practice to air out the condo immediately prior to a guest's arrival and that was overlooked, sorry that won't happen again. And we are currently repainting the walls and reupholstering all furniture. Come back and see how fresh and updated the place is!

Thank you for your comments. I am glad you enjoyed your stay and enjoyed our great location and spacious condo. Sorry about the noise you encountered during your stay. There was some building maintenance going on during your stay and remodeling of the restaurant downstairs. I am happy to report the new restaurant is open and all is quiet again. One of the benefits of our location is that it is quiet, no noisy bars or discos! We are currently in the process of many upgrades in the condo unit, painting throughout, new bedroom curtains, etc. The building internet provider was recently changed and equipment and boosters are being relocated for optimum performance. Internet is back up in the unit. Additionally a change in our management has taken place so towels and the like are back on schedule. Hope you'll become one of our regular, repeat guests!

Glad you enjoyed our spacious grounds, pool and rooftop. The seaweed is a new problem that seems to be plaguing the entire Caribbean. Many of the Caribbean islands are really struggling with this new challenge. Unlike other areas Playa del Carmen isn't waiting for this to just go away, the municipality has invested in tractors with special seaweed sweeping equipment and dump trucks to haul the seaweed far away from the beach. We are lucky our section of beach gets prompt attention from the city. We were at the condo for two weeks early January and the first couple of days the seaweed was rolling in, and the municipal workers were off on the New Year holiday and it was stacking up. But after the holiday they had the beach completely free of seaweed. The last 10 days of the two weeks there was no seaweed at all. Keeping up with the seaweed is important but it should also be noted that the seaweed doesn't was ashore all of the time. I think a lot of it has to do with the tides. Believe it or not this seaweed is coming from an area off the coast of Africa. We've been coming to this are of Mexico for 25+ years and the seaweed is a new occurrence. The currents have changed bringing this to our area and everybody is waiting for this to pass! For the time being, when planning a vacation everybody needs to make sure they are going to an area where the beach is cleaned with heavy equipment.

We have many repeat guests who stay at our place often, we would love to add you to that list of repeat guests. Regarding the fencing around the ground level pool, Building Management was in the process of replacing the wood with concrete so some of the wood had been removed during your stay.
