Cabanya Azul on the Hill - Buckleys, Long Island: Questo cottage di nuova costruzione ha una splendida vista sull'Oceano Atlantico a est e sulle acque rilassanti sul lato ovest dell'isola. TV via cavo con smart TV da 55 "in salotto e TV da 50" in camera da letto: puoi usare il tuo camino / roku. Cottage viene fornito con l'uso della guida a destra Nissan Cube - è prevista una tassa di utilizzo di $ 65 per 3-5 giorni di utilizzo dovuta all'arrivo in valuta statunitense o bahamiana - deve avere almeno 25 anni con una patente valida per guidare. Supplemento di $ 65 per ogni ulteriore utilizzo di 5 giorni (giorni 6-10, giorni 11-15). Ampie camere da letto con ampia cabina doccia con 2 soffioni nel master. Ogni camera da letto e soggiorno ha porte scorrevoli in vetro che si aprono sulla grande veranda che si affaccia sull'Oceano Atlantico. C'è una spiaggia che è letteralmente a 5 minuti a piedi dal cottage. Ci sono una serie di bellissime spiagge in tutta l'isola e molte altre attrazioni locali (Dean's Blue Hole, Hamilton's Caves, Cape Santa Maria, Columbus Monument, ecc.)

We loved Todd's house. Great location with beach down street. The Island is lovely with beautiful beaches and few tourists. Easy place to chill from the maddening world!

Great house and location.

The house was on the newer side and clean. The car ran well. The communication with the owner was excellent. There is a small beach on the Atlantic side within a 5 minute walk. I heard there is good snorkeling there when it's calm. If you snorkel I recommend visiting the Blue Hole. There were a wide variety of fish and sand dollars in the shallows. Max Conch Bar was our favorite restaurant. They make the best Cuban Sandwich! We rented a boat from Long Island Boat Rentals. The boat was in great shape and they had the cooler full of ice with waters and all the safety equipment. Waters are very peaceful and you may not see another person all day on the secluded beaches. I recommend this house and Long Island.

Our Cabanya Azul/Blue Cottage is a family endeavor. Building it and hosting families and guests was a way for us introduce our little slice of Heaven on Earth and to give back to the Long Island community that we all love and adore. My great grandparents (farmers), grandparents (farmers), mother and her siblings were all born and grew up on Long Island. My mother and her siblings went away to get an education and to find their way in the world. As they found success in their chosen careers they all helped to support their parents and younger siblings yet to leave home. My name is Todd and I am the face of this project and represent my family. I was actually born in Tampa, Florida and raised in Deadman's Cay, Long Island from 6 months old until I was 3 1/2 years old when I returned to Tampa. I continued to maintain a connection with my beloved Long Island as I returned every summer until adulthood to spend time with my grandparents, cousins, aunts/uncles and other distant family members.

All of us have wonderful memories of our time in Long Island so we all have invested in Long Island by renovating our original house and taking advantage of this opportunity to build this beautiful cottage in the adjacent settlement of Buckleys that we share with you.

We hope that you explore all that Long Island has to offer and enjoy it as much as we have over the years. We hope to make you a part of the family and encourage you to return on a regular basis - if not with us then with any of our other family and/or friends on this beautiful island. We all will make you feel welcomed and at home. You will see and we look forward to seeing you soon.

The island is a very quaint quiet place with a very loving and caring native population. They will speak to you and welcome you like you were an old friend. The cottage is located on a hill with beautiful views of the surrounding area as well as the Atlantic Ocean. It's a beautiful area for a short or long walk/hike. A small beach is only a five-minute walk from the cottage. Regarding the COVID-19 PANDEMIC...Please ensure that you follow local protocols such as wearing your mask and practice social distancing to protect yourself as well as the local population. We have taken all precautions as it relates to cleaning and sanitizing Cabanya Azul to ensure your safety and we ask you again to follow all local protocols. We have a few representatives on the island that are available to help coordinate fishing trips, sightseeing trips, hiking trips, places to eat, coffee shops, tiki-bars, grocery stores & other places of interest.

5 minute walk to the small beach. Rental cars are available on the Island and I can refer you to a couple of places that are nearby.
We respectfully ask that you remember that you are on an island with limited resources that many of us may take for granted. We want you to have a comfortable stay and will provide all modern conveniences but ask that you conserve as much as possible (water, electric, propane gas, etc.) We thank you in advance for being understanding.
WI-FI network and password/WPA key is listed on the wall next to the modem/router in the living room. There are security cameras on the outside of the Cottage but none inside to invade your privacy.
