Everything was clean and ready. Love the host he is very easy to talk to. Only suggestion would be a folding metal chair on the back porch so you can sit to take your shoes off and a sponge mop to clean around the stove. Thank you again for letting us stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Scott and Melody's beautiful home in the pines. We wanted a quiet place to relax and it fit the bill. Scott and Melody are excellent hosts. We will definitely stay there again when in the area.

Wonderful place, cozy clean cabin at a great location next to national forest with wildlife viewing all around. We had much relaxation and fun inside and outside the cabin. Would definitely come back again!

Beautiful cabin, my son absolutely loved sitting in the swing every morning and watching the animals play. Owners always accessible and responded quickly when questions asked. Cabin very accommodating for two families and children. Amazing stay, will reserve again!

Great vacation spot

Cabin is just outside of town of Alpine with a few neighbors but feels pretty remote. Very short drive to all the major attractions. Has lots of stuff to do at cabin for all ages, including a nice trail right out the back door.

Our hiking trail behind the cabin is so fun. In the evening you can find some deer and elk if you are quiet.

Great Stay

Everything was as expected. We were looking for privacy and comfort, met all our expectations. Our son loved the games and the pines were perfect. We did a hike based on the book in the cabin.

Annual Alpine, AZ Trip

This is the second year my husband, sister and I rented this cabin. It’s in a beautiful area with lots of trees, a great trail for hiking/biking and has everything we needed to enjoy our vacation.

Wonderful Family Vacation Spot

We had a wonderful time at Scott and Melody’s cabin. The cabin is in a beautiful location. They had lots of indoor and outdoor games and a great collection of videos. Everything was very clean and we felt very comfortable and at home. We’ll definitely be going back!

Absolutely Perfect!

Excellent place to stay! We were impressed with the cleanliness and variety of entertainment, including loads of books and movies, swings, foosball, tether ball, and several games. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. Scott was incredible to work with. It was perfect for our family of five! Would definitely recommend!

I rented cabin for an Elk hunt

Cabin is beautiful, comfortable, has everything you need. We stayed 11 days there and wanted to stay longer. Scott and Mel the owners provided what we asked for and more ! I highly recommend anyone who’s looking for a place to stay in the Alpine area to book here. Thanks Scott and Mel .

FAB-U-LOUS. Lots of games, activities and crafts for my 8 and 10 year old. They were NEVER bored! Beautiful home, easy to figure out lights/heat/breakers. Good access and parking, even with a UTV and trailer. Plenty of space for 3 adults and 2 kids that were in our party, could’ve easily gotten 2 more people in without feeling cramped. Washer and dryer were a Godsend. Loved the front porch for kicking back. Great experience!

Comfy Cozy Cabin!

Perfect location with plenty of room for our multi generational family of six. We appreciated all the special extra touches and thought put into our stay. Not only was the property clean, it had every amenity from the fully stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture including rocker recliners, a large table for up to 10 people, spacious deck with grill, fire pit and so much more. Easy for our 81 year old father to maneuver as there are no stairs to get in the rear entrance and having a full bath and bedroom on the first floor was perfect. Thanks again Scott for sharing your sweet property. We can't wait to come back.

One of the best experiences!

First off the pictures do no justice. We spent a week in the cabin and it was such a relaxing, quite and peaceful getaway. Very clean and the owners have gone above and beyond to make sure guests have everything they need in the cabin. The neighbors were not far but it was so quiet and peaceful I thought we were alone the entire time in the woods! We enjoyed many trips into town and loved the community but the best was the comfort of the cabin. I can go on and on about all the places to go hiking and horseback riding (snowy mountain stables was amazing) but I will wrap up the review with this. The owners take beautiful care of their property.The cabin is comfortable and a very homey. One of the best experiences us city folks could have. We will definitely be coming back sooner than later. Grateful for the opportunity we had to enjoy!!

Got out of the heat

We stayed for a week in July and are from Mesa. It was 110 at home and only in the 80's at this cabin. It was such a treat! We spent a lot of time outside: walking, hiking and driving around the lakes nearby. We walked up the hill in the back, which brought you to the rock wall (from the pics on the site), it was fun to climb and see all of Alpine from there. The cabin itself was very nice. Big enough to move around and have space, but also cozy and comfortable. I really loved the table, it was really long and we played plenty of games with small and larger groups of people. The bathrooms were clean and big. The Beds were very comfortable. The walls were thin and we could hear things, but that was mentioned to us before staying there and we were aware. The mud rooms were great to help keep the house clean and organized. Checking In and Checking out were very simple. Scott (the owner) was very helpful with any information we needed and replying back to me right away when texting.. We would definitely stay there again.
