Had one little issue, but the owner responded quickly and got the issue resolved for us! Overall we had a great stay!

Convenient to the beach

The house is very nice, modern and has all the amenities you need for a beach vacation. You can see the ocean from the balconies and it's an easy 2-minute walk to the beach. James was very responsive when we had to contact him.

Family vacation

The location was perfect. Steps from the beach. The rental was amazing and so spacious for 4 adults and 2 children. Very easy check in/out. Our host returned our arrival questions within minutes. Being able to include our dog, who enjoyed it just as much, just completed a long awaited family trip.

Just right!

We had a family reunion in Myrtle Beach and found this nearby complex of new beach houses. The location is so convenient for the beach, groceries, restaurants, and the house itself is modern, well decorated and comfortably furnished. Communication with James, the property manager, couldn’t have been better. We will hopefully return. Sorry we couldn’t stay longer!

Great beach house

The home was very nice and comfortable. Each bedroom has a tv. There is a smaller version of a walmart within walking distance. You can see the ocean from the front balconies. The kitchen was stocked with utensils dinnerware, blender and toaster. Very appreciative of the washer and dryer. Would definitely stay here again. James was very nice and helpful with all our questions. again.

Great choice

The check-in process was super simple. We were very close to the beach and could easily cross with our stuff to spend the day. If necessary, going back was a breeze. We planned on making all our meals, and had everything we needed to cook. There was a neighborhood Walmart very close and a larger one about a 15 minute drive. There were also plenty of places walking distance to eat out and a couple mini marts for beach supplies. Overall, it was a great experience.

Absolutely beautiful house!

This house was absolutely beautiful and James was amazing! He promptly answered all of our questions and was very easy and nice to work with. The house had plenty of space and our daughters loved having their own rooms and bathrooms. Every amenity was thought of, including beach towels and beach chairs. DO NOT LET THE AREA DISSUADE YOU!!! There are only two hotels that aren’t the best, but we had absolutely no issues and felt completely safe. It’s a super short walk (one minute) to the beach and anything you would want to do is just a short drive away. We could not believe how clean the house was and how beautifully maintained the property was. We will definitely be staying here again and look forward to working with James in the future!

290A S 19th Ave - very disappointed

Upon arrival place was not clean. Broken chairs , missing blinds , used kitchen sponge , molded/rusted shower curtains , railing screws failing out,dirty dishes.....so on . Wish the manager would have checked the property before guests arrive. The place was gross and James was not accommodating.

Looks are deceiving!

The overall property (physical building) is fairly new and in good shape. It has several amenities for vacationers and a decent stocked kitchen if you prefer to cook. Items outside such as the grill are shared by the 6 units - so not one for each. Same with the cornhole boards. This property is in a TERRIBLE neighborhood- we were approached by multiple drug dealers/homeless folks in the area. The hotel (The Virginian) has constant law enforcement there - witnessed multiple arrests - fights etc. We were there for a baseball tournament and I did not expect any of this to occur! We woke up Monday morning to find that all of my husbands fishing equipment had been stolen from the shower under the house (the lock on the shower is not functional). A police report was filed and the property manager contacted. He assured us "this has never happened in 3 years". Hard to believe considering the neighborhood. He said he would have a lock installed - this never happened in our trip. His other solution was to buy us dinner. We didn't take him up on that offer and either. Each night we heard screaming and yelling. My kids were scared the entire time. It was miserable. Again the physical house itself is nice but I should have done a lot more homework about the neighborhood and area. The ropes course that is suggested in the welcome email is now a homeless camp. For sure don't walk your dogs at night alone. Our neighbors were approached by someone wanting "to buy their dog".

The property was clean looks like the pictures. The home could use more towels and kitchen items. We had 5 bath towels in a six-bed home? I did ask the owner for baby gates due to all the stairs and the listing says baby gate, so I assumed one, so we even brought one with us. We could not find any in the building. I texted the owner and he dropped one off, but it did not fit the stairwells. So, I had my 2 granddaughters the age of 2 running around with one gate on 2 stairwells. When I texted back about the gate, I got the response, that is all I have?? (GO BUY ONE!) The biggest drawback to us was the neighborhood around the home on the next corner up from the building were 2 old hotels that were housing less than desirable people. On one occasion my partner was walking back from the beach in the middle of the day and there were 2 women fitting it out in the street and the police were called and responded. I was disappointed in Myrtle beach in general. I am from Florida and our beach areas are a lot nicer sorry but just my observation.

Stayed 7/9 to 7/15

There was an issue with the floors, and when I contacted James, he had the cleaning crew there within an hour. Our only disappointment was with the first floor balcony seats. They were in such condition that you couldn’t even sit in them. Overall, we had a wonderful stay!
