Stunning Clova Bay Hideaway

What an amazing location to get away from the hustle and bustle and simply relax. Walks along the beach, fishing in the bay where the fish are plentiful and tasted very nice for dinner. I would recommend this location for anyone.

Awesome place to stay Bach was very clean and tidy Very well appointed Great communication from host Easy pick up and drop off from jetty Use of mooring and kayak Hopai sports day just around the corner in Crail Bay And close to Wilsons bay Te Rawa for petrol beer and a good feed Cheers Shane and Debbie

Perfection

This is the second time we have stayed at Manaroa but the first at Hebe House, What a perfect location. Nothing but views of Clova Bay. I just loved the indoors/ outdoor flow of the bi-fold doors. Even on a grey old day you still felt connected to the bay. Comfy, well equipped and oh so relaxing. Wifi good enough for teenager not to feel disconnected. Enjoyed SUPing, fishing and kayaking. Really appreciated Marion's load of an extra paddle when we lost ours.

Perfect getaway

Absolutely brilliant, stunning location, very well kept property which has everything you need. Steve and Marion were both a great help with loading and giving us local knowledge. Will definitely be back again

Peace and quiet

Lovely position with great views. Super clear water to swim in and a spacious kitchen for cooking. Good shade for those hot summer days and excellent facilities.

Leggett family stay.

Would definitely come again. Made to feel very welcome. Slight confusion when we arrived by water taxi. Not met and not sure where go. But the welcome sure made up for it.

Paradise

Very enjoyable stay, property was immaculate and has everything you need. Great barbecue and fish filleting area we we are glad to report we put to good use! Marion and Steve do a fantastic job and thanks heaps Marion for the sandfly spray, we had to forget something! Really hope we can get back out there again soon. Many thanks Aaron, Debbie and family

Perfect Holiday Getaway

It’s a long drive but worth it. We loved this place. It was everything we needed and wanted from our holiday - sunshine, water, fishing, swimming, exploring. Kids had a ball!

Fabulous location for a relaxing vacation

Clean and comfortable cottage with stunning views. Nice quiet location filled with birdsong and natural beauty. Right on the sound so swimming and fishing are right on the doorstep, and lovely walks on the shore or up the hills. For an extra treat, be sure to pick up a copy of Marion Day's book "Passion". We truly enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. We will definitely try to return again someday.

Great bach in a remote bay.

Clean, well equipped and comfortable. Great scenery. Communication with the owner is via bookabach messaging rather than standard email. Internet coverage in the Sounds is very patchy so need to get everything sorted before your travels.

Thank you for your review. Am sorry you found our internet coverage to be patchy as it has always been perfect for other users. Live streaming could be a problem, as mentioned in the 'notes' folder, but apart from that I cannot think why this was so. Hope you had a great stay anyway.

Lovely Remote Sounds spot

We loved the old Sounds Farm feel of the place, both the house and location . Our six year olds loved fishing from the wharf and looking for crabs on the mudflats. Very tidy property
