The cabin was super cute. Great view of the creek! Host was Super accommodating! Just FYI the mattress is Super soft. Like camping air mattress, when my hubby would get in bed I would go up on my side then slope towards him.. oh! And yes the creek does get extremely high and floods the area to the trees across the way :)

Great Relaxing Getaway!!!

We were looking for a place to get away from it all, and this property did not disappoint! Great weekend spot to sit and recharge. Would definitely stay again.

Jacuzzi on the Creek

Enjoyed the property immensely. Very private and right on a creek. It had everything that was needed for a perfect stay. The hot tub was the frosting on a great 2 day adventure.

Perfect honeymoon spot!

The host was amazing! She was always available and had everything perfect and awaiting our arrival. It was a very private and peaceful spot. We are planning on returning every chance we get!

Beautiful location and great hospitality!

This cabin is in a secluded area surrounded by trees and nature. I wish we would have had more time to just spend there. We would definitely come back here!!! The owners are very friendly as well and check in to make sure everything is going well

Perfect Peaceful Getaway

The cabin was clean and cozy. The owners are very friendly and kept us informed and updated starting at about a week before our arrival. My husband and I stayed there for our 16th anniversary and we can't wait to stay there with the kids when its warm enough to enjoy the creek.

We are so happy you enjoyed yourselves so much. When your ready to come back to visit when its warmer to enjoy the creek with your family give me a call, our other cabin just down the street that is bigger, should be ready and perfect for all of you plus it has 450 ft creek access with a large river rock and bed for easy kayak access and walking into creek. The Creekside Cabin was exactly what were looking for. Very private and right on the water.

Frank and Julie were wonderful. Very nice to talk to and concerned that we had everything we needed. They even have us a toast for our anniversary. Highly recommend the cabin for a quiet and relaxing get away.

It was very nice to meet you both and we are very happy you enjoyed the cabin. We are working on the cabin and we will send you updates as we complete them. Also we are getting another cabin ready to rent up in Saltillo on the Tennessee river and it's a little bigger but it's still tucked away and in a beautiful spot with a canal on the back for boat access. I will update you on that as well. 🏞

Great place to stay, it's secluded and private right on the water and easy to get to. The cabin is ideal for 2 people but we made it work with 2 couples using the queen air mattress provided. Julie is a great host! I would highly recommended renting this cabin...I know we will again in the future!

Creek Side Cozy Cabin

We had the cutest little cabin. It was warm and inviting. My kids loved it especially the hot tub and being just feet from the creek. They also loved having access to the kayaks. We definitely will be coming back to visit. Our host was very accommodating and friendly.

Relaxing

Very relaxing . Would have enjoyed a lot more in the spring time when we could be outdoors more. Overall was very nice. The hot tub was great. But the cabin could use some updates and small repairs.

Please let me know what you think needs to be updated. We have been working on it and I have new flooring to install as soon as I can. But I really like to have input from our guest to make our cabin a wonderful place to getaway. Thank you.

I cannot begin to say enough about the cabin retreat. The cabin is fantastic. And the location is beautiful. Sitting out and watching the creek and the scenery is so peaceful and relaxing. It’s so quiet. The owner is fantastic. Answered and questions and was very gracious. If you are headed out that way I cannot think of another place to stay. We’ll be back.

Great secluded getaway

We had a wonderful time at the cabin, it's exactly as described and pictured. Swings, fire pit, and hot tub are wonderful, views and sounds of the creek can't be beaten. We saw a few kayakers each day, watched hawks dive from high above into the creek, and totally loved just unplugging from everything hectic. Definitely a secluded location but that's what we were looking for. Julie couldn't have been nicer, we had been on vacation in Orange beach and with the abrupt development of Hurricane Sally were forced to evacuate. Contacted Julie to see about a last minute same day check-in and she easily made it happen. Started us off with a couple beers and waters to boot and checked in to make sure all was good and answer any questions we may have had. We will be looking to return for sure!

Infested with wasps!

It was difficult to get up the stairs to go inside without being swarmed with wasps. We were supposed to stay 2 nights and we only stayed one due to the wasps coming into the house through the cracks of the door. As well as a few nests inside. She contacted me the day of to tell me the cable and internet was out as well. I contacted the property manager the day we left about a possible refund and she never got back with me.

This cabin is tucked away in the woods. As for the wasps - All the wasp nest have been treated and and most removed as far as we can reach on ladders and try to keep them away and treated as much as possible but we cant stop nature. As for them coming into house all doors are weather sealed to keep all elements out. We pride ourselves on keeping a very clean and well kept cabin . I also have on the VROB site that the internet will be installed as soon as possible. I email her 24-48 hours before her checking in thru VROB an her personal email that the satellite company rescheduled on us till next week. We are truly sorry about her experience but we cant keep nature at bay. Also this cabin is a place to get away from it all unwind and unplug and to enjoy the creek to go swimming, kayaking or tubing.

Nice Cabin

This is a nice cabin, in a secluded location. We decided to leave a day early, not happy with the cleanliness of cabin. Overall it was tidy, however November is apparently Lady bug season. (which we didn't know, dont live local) There was lady bugs dead and sometimes alive in Cabin. I don't do bugs of any kind. I couldn't walk around at night without shoes since there was so many. The morning that we left there was 10 in the shower alone. The fridge wasn't clean, crumbs on the shelves. Overall it probably is a good clean location, just not in the fall.

I'm truly sorry about the ladybugs but this cabin is tucked away in the woods on the creek and I do everything I possibly can to limit the ladybugs that come in the cabin but they get in anyway. We have a pest control several that comes out monthly ou r when ever we need them too. I clean the cabin throughly and come back in before our guest arrives to do a final cleaning to make sure everything is good but when its ladybug season, I can do a complete cleaning and come back in an hour and ladybugs are back. So I'm sorry if you dont understand that this is a beautiful cozy cabin tucked in the woods away from it all. We pride ourselves on keeping our cabins cleaned in every way.
