Daniela was awesome, answering all our questions very quickly and helping us organize our trip. The house was beautiful, perfect layout for our family, the pool got tons of use.

We had an amazing stay beautiful home. Our house keeper didn’t show up when scheduled but that’s ok. Daniella was a great person to work with. Highly recommend this home it’s in the middle of shopping dining and a short walk to the beach.

Great home

The home was very clean and a great setup for our group. We had some minor issues of the power going out in the casitas, but they were quickly addressed. We would stay here again.

First trip to Tamarindo

I was a little nervous about picking a place for our 9 person extended family to stay in an unknown location. The trip was great. Everyone had a good time with lots of space, plenty amenities, and a great location to access the beach, fishing trips, and around Tamarindo with a short walk.The property manager helped us so much that I'm reluctant to mention details for fear that this much service is unstainable.

Lovely house

We were very happy with the accommodations for our family of 9. The house is spacious and clean. It looked recently updated. We appreciated the use of laundry facilities to clean towels frequently. The location is great too. We walked about 5 min to the beach and 10 min to the middle of Tamarindo. The pool was very handy to entertain the kids. The concierge, Kattia was easily available for questions and bookings. Overall, it was an awesome trip!

We had a wonderful time celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with our sons and their partners. The location was great - close to beaches, stores and restaurants. The house was spacious and well stocked with necessary serving necessities. The pool was clean and the outside furniture just right. For a renter, be sure you know that landscaping may come unannounced for 4 hours which can be a little inconvenient for pool sunbathing. What can I say about Kattia. She was a great resource in our planning and answered all my questions quickly and completely. She helped in arranging a private dinner that was just perfect. We would highly recommend this property and hope to visit it again sometime in the future. Pura Vida!!

Costa Rica Vacation

Flathead Valley, Montana to Tamarindo, Costa Rica...what an experience! Kattia with Horizon was amazing. She was incredible from start to finish. Casa Bella Vida was ideal for 8 adults traveling together. Space enough to gather, commune and rest after adventuring. Having a pool, outdoor shower, and nicely appointed kitchen was a blessing. All the Housekeeping and Maintenance staff that was in an out throughout the week were kind, and friendly. We would absolutely stay at Casa Bella Vida again!

Family vacation

The property worked perfectly for our family of 5 adults and 1 toddler. The kitchen is well stocked, bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and the pool was a treat! The online description is spot on. Daniela could not have been more helpful and responsive! She coordinated groceries that were at the house upon our arrival, a golf cart rental, a private chef that cooked dinner one night and spa treatments. She also answered many questions we had about other activities and local necessities. We would definitely go back!

Fun for all

Lots of rain but the family was ready and played games to pass the time. Great food and restaurant selections nearby, beach to walk on and enjoy-even in the rain. Kattia went above and beyond to help all members of the group get the adventure right for them. Because of the rains, Kattia went above and beyond to check for a one day extension and that saved the day. Highly recommend this house and Kattia. Space for alone time and space for together around meals, talking or playing games.

Casa Bella Vida Pura Vida

Where to start??!! The photos do not do justice to how extremely beautiful this property truly is. The rooms, the pool, the kitchen, the outdoor living spaces, the wildlife right in your back yard......what an amazing home base for our families.On top of all of this, we had Kattia from Pacific Horizon who helped us arrange for transportation along with helping to secure our excursions. Kattia is truly amazing at what she does. She went above and beyond to ensure our Costa Rica adventure was truly Pura Vida!!

Amazing Elopement Stay

Me, my fiancée, and our family stayed here over our elopement. Kattia from Horizon Pacific was extremely responsive and helpful at all hours of the day, even outside of business hours. She helped us book excursions, arranged for groceries to be delivered, and even sent maintenance out when a breaker blew. The house itself was perfect for families, as the casita in the back offered more privacy for couples than the main house. The house and management team ensured we had a beautiful elopement. I can't thank Kattia enough!

Awesome house in Tamarindo

My siblings with spouses and I spent a week in Tamarindo early June. We stayed at Casa Bella Vida and thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful house. It was perfectly clean, very well decorated with a well stocked and very large kitchen. The living room is a little bit small, but there are a lot of sitting options outside and with the fans going it was never too hot. Our property manager, Kattia, was extremely helpful with tour planning and general advice. We did have a couple of maintenance issues and these were addressed promptly. The house is just minutes from the town and the beach. I highly recommend staying here if you are going to Tamarindo.

Monkey Highway

Look, they won't promise you this (because, how could they?) but every single day of our 8 days there Howler monkeys in groups of 6 to 15 traversed the trees over this property. So much fun to watch. Now, it's usually around 6:30 am... but still. Great location. Clean place. We had four couples so the two casitas along with the house and its three bedrooms was perfect for us. And, the property manager Kattia is unbelievably helpful with any small issues and the fun things you want to do like zip lining and snorkeling boats.

Spring Break 2024

Despite not being on the beach or having an ocean view, this is a perfect contemporary hideaway for an extended family gathering. Separate areas for privacy with awesome outdoor gathering areas…just the right amount of sun and shade. The listing pics are accurate! It is THAT contemporary, well-appointed, and new. Cutlery could have been sharper:). The walking distance to the main beach access point is OVERSTATED in the listing…5-7 min tops. 1-2 min by golfcart and there is always parking. There are some unofficial parking cops, but for a 1000 colones they make you feel secure. Daniela at Horizon was amazing and our many messages never lingered more than an hour. The pool was cleaned daily and the living spaces cleaned 3X in our 8 days. A single criticism if any: no convenient plug-in for our cart rental, but we made do fine.

The most amazing experience!

Not only did the property management arrange for pick up from the airport but also helped us with travel to other destinations and excursions. The property itself was well maintained and we couldn't have asked for a bettter over all experience. 5 🌟
