My family stayed in this wonderful property during the Calgary Stampede. Eli and his wife were friendly and prompt with their communication. We were greeted upon arrival and made to feel welcome from the minute we walked in the door. The space was very cozy and comfortable. We would gladly stay in this property again in the future.

The host was very personable and helpful. He let us put our electric bikes in his garage to charge them and moved them from out of the rain. They gave us ideas of where we could go on our bikes. The host played pool with my husband and brought wine and snacks to share. It was a very comfortable suite. There is a pathway around the side of the house to the suite with 3 steps down.

Excellent walk out suite

Great room for eating and socializing, beautiful backyard and a lake within 50 steps to paddle on! Eli and Hannah are really superb hosts.

Lovely time in a lovely location

We had a great time at Eli's! Superb location in a quiet residential area, by the lake, not far from Calgary downtown by car; it was perfect for our first time in Calgary. Eli's thoughtful and available if anything, he was always quick to respond, and was very kind enough to wait for us when we arrived late on the evening after a delayed flight. You have all you need to have a good time, even when the weather is not favorable, you have a pool table and a projector screen for yourself. We will gladly come back at Eli's if we pass by Calgary again!

The host (Eli) was excellent! He was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The suite is beautifully furnished and had all of the supplies necessary to make this a comfortable accommodation. When we needed anything (e.g., more toilet paper, coffee, etc.) Eli brought it to us immediately and left it outside of our door. He was very respectful of our privacy. We chose the location to be close to family, so it was not for use of the dock, lake, etc. but if that is what you are looking for, there is no dock currently. The lake is only steps away from the house, so it is still lovely to walk over and would be easy enough to access even without the dock. The original pictures showed a hot tub, but that is no longer in use. Again, this wasn't a big deal for us, but just a mention for anyone who saw earlier pictures with this feature. The backyard is beautiful and we enjoyed our morning coffee at the comfortable seating arrangement. It was quiet and private (only one afternoon that someone from upstairs was sharing the space - he left when we went outside). The noise from upstairs was no more than what you would expect with a family living above you. There was one anomaly on our last morning - some banging (doors?) at about 4:30am that lasted about 10 minutes, but again, this was unusual given how quiet it was for the rest of the week. Even their dog rarely barked, and stayed on their deck above us when it was outside. We'd definitely stay here again!

The property was such a luxury but also family friendly! The hosts were always available and made sure we had whatever we needed. The home is in such a beautiful neighbourhood and all the neighbours we came across were so kind. The shared dock to the lake is not fixed yet so you have to be a bit more creative to get the boats in but it’s worth it to go on the water - a beautiful and relaxing thing to do while staying. Our young daughter loved catching minnows nightly and going for a dip! They truly went above and beyond as hosts and we would recommend this place to whoever is visiting Calgary and doesn’t want to stay downtown!
