Ideally located inside Lakeside gates: The town of Lakeside sits on the shore of Lake Erie , between Port Clinton and Marblehead . Lakeside offers loads of activities including: fishing, kayaking, shuffle board, mini golf , bike/ golf cart rental ,swimming pool, fitness center, art & music activities and live entertainment to name a few.
Cottage is steps away from downtown , Hoover Auditorium & Dock. Location is quiet, tucked behind main house & offers an outdoor courtyard with seating. Newly renovated cottage is fresh, clean & offers lots of natural light. Cottage has an open floor plan with a double bed, new futon, full kitchen, eating area, lounging area, window A/C, Cable/WIFI, bike storage, & large walk-in closet.
*Memorial Day weekend- Labor Day weekend Lakeside charges DAILY gate fees PER PERSON and Auto Fees PER VEHILCLE. PLEASE Review Gate and Parking fees in Rental Agreement at time of booking.

*Fees are NOT included in your cottage rental fee.

There is NO assigned parking space for this unit. Please contact Homeowner with parking questions/ options. Short term Golf Cart parking is available but there is no charging available for guest Golf Cart.

Anniversary trip

My wife and I had a wonderful stay. The studio was spotless and had everything we needed for our short visit. Barb, the property manager, was fantastic—so accommodating and easy to work with. We’d definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your lovely place with us!

Get away!

Wonderful relaxation, TV a little complicated to work, but not a problem- we brought books! Lakeside is our favorite spot! Clean!

Nice location and Nice place!

Enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and easy accessibility to parks along the lake. Close to Kelleys Island Ferry which made for a nice day trip.

Always a great stay!

Barb’s place is perfect for my preteen son and I when we come up for a long weekend. It would also suit us if we came for an entire week. We love Lakeside and we are so happy to have found this gem!

Great little stay

This little stay is perfect for a couple at lakeside. We stayed here while the rest of our family stayed at another place, and it was nice to have our own space. It was one of the hottest weeks in the summer, and the AC still kept it cool.

Cozy cottage close to town center

The cottage was a cute little place. Perfect for that couple that would like a nice place to stay all while being close to the Lakeside town center, pier, and all the other amenities. The place was very clean and had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay.

Perfect little space!

My mom and daughter stayed here while my husband and I were camp counselors for Reach Out Camp at Lakeside. It is the perfect little space for 2-3 people. The location is excellent and the owners are great to work with!

My wife and I had a relaxing and wonderful time at LKSD. Our stay in this studio cottage was perfect and its location was great for walking/riding bikes within the gates. Thank you for your hospitality/communication for our weekend stay.

Perfect weekend away!

This is our second time staying at Barb and family’s little studio. (It’s just the right size for us.) We were out and about often walking and enjoying all that Lakeside has to offer. Such a fun time seeing all the sights and relaxing in the evening. We will come back again next year!!

We had a wonderful stay!

My son and I are frequent visitors to Lakeside. We had a wonderful stay in Barb’s guest house. We were warm and cozy, and did not want for a thing. The bed and futon were very comfortable. Thank you so much for having us.

Cute little place!

Great little place close to all. My 90 year old mother was even able to walk to the shops. Perfect for one or two people and everything included. New couch / futon was a great addition from last year.

Lakeside getaway

This was so cute , clean and close to everything. We walked everywhere in town and took the shuttle to pool . We had everything we needed inside our apt. Highly recommend this place.

Comfy cottage on Maple

We had a great stay at this cottage. It had everything you need for a stay inside and out! We enjoyed lunch on our own private patio area. Barb, our host, was in touch with us to make sure we were settled in. Close to all activities in Lakeside. Thank you for true Lakeside hospitality!

Lakeside Cottage

Cute, comfortable, clean cottage. Barb was very responsive and accommodating. Lakeside is a lovely, very safe community like stepping into the set of the Music Man. One thing to be aware of in advance is the $30 per person daily fee plus a daily parking fee ranging from $7- $14 a day. There are 3 separate parking lots from where u are then shuttled to your destination.

Perfect lil home away from home! ❤️

We loved our stay at Barb and Dave’s place! (It was amazing to have this comfy & cozy cottage to stay in between shuffleboard, mini golf, ice cream trips, and strolling around downtown lakeside!) This place has everything you need, a nice kitchen, an AC unit, quaint bathroom + shower, and a small outdoor place to relax in the evening. It was located super close to the Hoover auditorium and downtown area. We parked in the local lot close the house which was great when we explored outside of community. We already can’t wait to come back to Barb and Dave’s place! What an absolute joy to stay to show Lakeside to my wife. 😀

Beatrix Potter cottage

The cottage is charming and comfortable and very clean. The host is very accommodating and friendly. The only drawback, and it is important is that the listing is not transparent about the fees charged by the Lakeside/Chautauqua homeowners' association for parking and admission. The listing does tell prospective guests to review the information concerning these provided by the association. These fees are considerable and the prospective guest needs more transparent warning about this.

Studio cottage

The studio cottage was meticulously clean and well organized. For a small space, we had everything we needed. The location was excellent, just a few blocks from shops, eateries and the lake. The outdoor patio space was wonderful!!
