Welcome to Fort Myers Beach! There are multiple state parks nearby that are waiting for your adventures. Jump on the trolley to take you south to the secluded Lover's Key State Park or go north to Bowditch Point Park. The Fish Tale Marina offers boat rentals and dockage for those wanting to get out on the water. Travel around the island in style in a rented Moke or golf cart. Trolley service is also available from Estero Boulevard to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach. Several restaurants, shops, and bars have come back since the hurricane. If a day trip is what you are looking for, check out the Key West Express for an unforgettable trip to Key West. Don’t forget to see Sanibel Lighthouse, which is less than 15 miles away! Please note that the area has been rebuilt since Hurricane Ian. Despite the changes, the island continues to improve, inviting you to bask in the sun, sand, and amazing sunsets once again. Everything was great, we had an excellent time. Plenty of room for our party of seven. We cooked a couple of meals and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The pool was shaded in the afternoon, a nice place to get out of the sun during the hottest part of the day. The check in/out was easy. If we travel to Fort Myers again, I will definitely be checking if the Mod Cottage is available.

The house is brand new! Only one block to the beach. Pool area is fantastic with grill, heated pool, and lots of floaties and toys. Communication from the host was very good. We loved our vacation at Fort Myers Beach.

House was beautiful. We didn’t realize there were so many steps. No bathroom at the pool was a pain in the neck. Banging at 7 am every morning with the guys next door building the house was a bit annoying. And the saw dust then ending up in the pool. Requested the pool company come to clean it with no response. We will need to do a lot more investigating before renting again.
