Peaceful Garden Studio For Low-Key Guests - All Pets Welcome!

Peaceful studio suite with private entrance, queen bed, kitchenette, and bathroom, looking out into our garden. Family neighborhood, close to 101, easy access to downtown Santa Barbara and Goleta. Short drive to the beach, many hiking areas, dog parks, great restaurants.

All pets are welcome; no additional fees. We offer dog walking and feeding. We also have a car available for rent.

We are looking for low-key guests as the studio is attached to our main house where we live with our two cats. Please keep noise to a minimum after 9pm. We look forward to hosting you!

Pleasant, no-nonsense, pet-friendly

Great communication w/ host. Easy check-in, super easy check-out. Important accommodations for pets. Quiet hours 9p-6a; I cannot for sure recall if it is, but feel this should be highlighted on the actual listing. Great park nearby. Super easy to get to highway.

We had a great time staying in the studio during a weekend in Santa Barbara. It had all we needed for the stay: a comfortable bed, a kitchenette, a nice bathroom, and a cute little outdoor space. It is in a nice quiet neighborhood which gave us a short drive to both the university campus and to downtown Santa Barbara.

Quick visit to SB

We needed a pet friendly, located closer to Goleta rental. We basically needed a place to sleep and shower. Very quiet, clean and pet friendly for sure. Price was what sold us. You can't find a hotel/motel for that price and be pet friendly or quiet. (Kind of hectic and noisy in the touristy areas) I do have to say if you are an active night owl or want to party and come home at 2 am, this is not the place for you. The owners are insistent on protecting the "quiet time" range for the rental. We rented for that reason.

Visit with Family

This studio is upscale and comfy, and roomy enough for us and 2 Pomeranians with crates. The owners are friendly, communicative, and accommodating. I loved the neighborhood— beautiful homes to admire while walking the dogs, and fabulous for stargazing at night— no street lights in Santa Barbara!

there was that yellow brown mold in the shower, bleach / water solution will cure that. the bath towels were a little rough, fabric softener would help. the tip toeing around and whispering after 9pm was a little not expected tile we got the 14 item list just before pour arrival.

This was in a great neighborhood and communication with the host was top-notch. The price was amazing for Santa Barbara. Very nice studio with everything we needed for a weekend stay, even snacks. Location was perfect for our events, all in Goleta. For purposes of a detailed review, there are some things that would be important to know. The description does mention the quiet hours starting at 9pm due to the shared wall with the host's bedroom, but we didn't realize just how thin the walls are. It was fine for my husband and I, but it might be an issue for others. There is no TV, and that could be why. The host was respectful of the quiet time rules too, which was great. Heard their bedroom door open in the morning and that was it. The walkway to the studio are small pebbles and it would be helpful for them to add walkway solar path lights. We used our cellphone flashlight. The bed faces the French doors and while there's a drape, it would be nice if it were a room darkening drape. On Saturday while we wanted to rest in the room for a few hours before our evening event, it was a bummer that the neighbor's gardener was using the leaf blower off and on for the entire 3 hours we were there. I started wondering if maybe they were doing something else? It was an extraordinarily long time to listen to that loud noise. Other than those things, we really enjoyed our stay, and lwe absolutely would stay there again.

Comfortable stay

This attached studio in a nice residential neighborhood was perfect for our stay in Santa Barbara for a wedding weekend. The host was extremely easy to communicate with, (though we never saw him) and provided clear and very easy check in and check out instructions. The studio provided everything that we needed and was well stocked, as our host thought of everything and provided water, snacks, beach towels and even baby oil to clean the tar off our feet from the ocean. The studio had a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and plenty of utensils. We enjoyed our breakfast on the outside patio. The location was perfect for us since it was very close to exit 103 on the 101 freeway which allowed us to attend all the venues for the wedding weekend which were located all along exits 96-98 so easy access to the Santa Barbara beaches as well as beautiful downtown Santa Barbara. The unit did not have a television, but with internet access provided, we were able to watch what we wanted on our iPad. Only negative was that there was no exterior lighting so when we returned at night we had to use our flashlight to light the way.

A beautiful place to rest

I loved spending a few days here with my dogs. This place was close enough to the beaches to be where I wanted to be within 15 minutes, but also far enough from traffic that I didn't hear any noise. My dogs were happy to be away from the fireworks and the explosions that are common now in the city. For me, it was a peaceful and lovely experience.

Nice stay - with stipulations

We would have preferred meeting the homeowner upon checking in, especially since they had a list of requests having to do with sharing a wall like no showers after 9. We felt like we had to tiptoe around.The studio was very nice and well appointed.
