this is the perfect little cabin that is dog friendly with a big yard for them to run in, just right for a couple and a kid or two....... in a nice country area with perfect views...... I got to watch the deer in the morning and at dusk from the back porch.... we were close enough to everything we wanted to do.... blue ridge parkway, apple orchards, chasing waterfalls, grandfather mountain,, the covered bridge and carl sunburg house.. we went gem mining and fed goats... something to do everyday and we enjoyed food at the hare and then hound and southwest smoke house,,, delicious. the cabin was warm and cozy and had everything we needed for a truly enjoyable memorable stay... I would love to visit again! we cant thank our hosts enough. don becky and casino

A beautiful, quiet stay

This cabin is perfect for a good morning view, night sleep and proximity to all places. The beds were comfortable and a good morning coffee with a view of the mountains was just what we needed. Lots of amenities to help cook as well.

Always a comfortable stay

This was our 3rd stay and we are booked for a 4th in October. This is becoming our home away from home—the perfect location for visiting family. Close to everything, clean and comfortable.

Hey Cyndy, you are why we do this. We love the sound of the farm. A favorite spot has been the little back porch over looking the back field and White Oak Mountain, and we enjoy being able to share this. Y'all were just the second visitor to the Rustic Refuge and we are so grateful you find it worthy to return to. For your October trip sweet Golden Delicious apples will be ripe for picking just a short piece up the road in Hendersonville.

I loved Dimitri’s Greek Italian Restaurant. We traveled a lot through the mountains and enjoyed the Mountain view. Getting to eat outside on the back porch was nice.

This was our fourth visit this year, and it has become our home away from home. Larry and Kim make you feel welcome; the cabin is ALWAYS clean and ready for your stay. The location is perfect for our family visits as well as other places to visit.
