My only negatives are that the ice machine in the kitchen was quite noisy and the basement TV doesn’t work. Otherwise the property was as described, well kept and had everything we needed! Enjoyed our stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, it was good. There were a few things we felt Island Time rental could have done to make it GREAT. After paying a large amount of money to have heated, the pool was not heated well. The pool light was out making it difficult for kids to swim at night. Exterior doors were very difficult to open/close and felt like we were going to break them if used.

We had a great experience at 11 Grey Widgeon — so much so that we rebooked it for next year after the first night.

This home truly felt like our own private retreat. It was beautiful and exactly as described. It’s close to everything yet still feels tucked away and peaceful. We made wonderful memories here and can’t wait to return.The communication was awesome and kept us informed every step of the way. They were also very responsive with any questions, etc.

Great vacation home near the beach.

A wonderful home near the beach. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and had a nice grill to use. The outside could have used some more seating/table on the deck for the 12 of us. The neighborhood is great.

Beautiful House steps from beach

Our family loved doing remote school/work from this beach house. There’s plenty of work spaces and good wifi, plus just a 2 min walk to beach for breaks between calls/class.

Great location but house needs a little TLC

Convenient location to everything in Sea Pines. Home needs some TLC compared to others we’ve stayed at on HHI.

Great House and location

The house was great, clean, up to date and great location! There were a few small items like the Powder room toilet handle broke just needed to reconnect the chain, the Main bath room toilet kept running, and the refrigerator froze a few items. But over all really liked the place!

Giant House, great for big families steps from the Beach!

My wife and I rented this house for our anniversary. We rented it because it looked updated and was so close to the beach. We were not disappointed and loved the house. The location was perfect. It's about as close to the beach as you can get, without being on the beach front. We ordered bikes, and that was great. They delivered them right to house. It was a great vacation!!!

Beautiful Beach House for Families

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was extremely clean, spacious, and bright. The rooms were decorated with beach themes, very cozy. Comfortable lounging chairs by the clear, clean pool. The only glitch was that the spa tub connected to the pool was not working properly; the Island Time personnel were absolutely wonderful and very quick to respond. Access to the beach was about 5 minutes; easy bike ride into Harbor Town. Highly recommend renting this property if you want a fun vacation.

great location and family vacay in Sea Pines

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an overall wonderful, home-run vacation here for 6 adults and 3 kids, 8 and under. We loved the layout of the house and short walk to the gorgeous beach. The kitchen was well equipped and bedrooms spacious and comfortable. While not large, the pool was fine for young kids. The Sea Pines location is perfect. (We mentioned to management that moving forward a home of this caliber needed: outdoor grill repaired or replaced, one worn out living room chair replaced and a cleanup and trim for the landscaping.)

Family Time in HH-11 Grey Widgeon

Reviewer Comments: The house was beautiful, beautifully furnished, and a GREAT location. other than having a lot of steps inside, the bedrooms could not have worked out better. Everyone had their own bed and bath- great decks and amenities like a well stocked kitchen, grill and fire pit, which was great because we wanted to stay safe and close to home. And the ease of getting back & forth to the beach - we have a new generation of HH lovers! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM ISLAND TIME-THANKS BRENDA!!!!

Great Locations

We had ants in the kitchen upon arrival. The pool heater would not work and the house needed some love. Boards coming off on the deck. Spring break 2024

Reviewer Comments: Great home right off the beach! House and location couldn’t have been better. Rental company was also fantastic. My only complaint was the pool- small and very dirty. Home has a lot of brush surrounding the pool so leaves constantly get in. Despite our best efforts to clean daily with the pool net, it was difficult. Pool company came out mid week to help but would recommend adding a pool vacuum so renters could clean themselves if needed. Otherwise 10/10 stay.

Our vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family grew up with a lot of their time in Hilton Head. My husbands parents retired to HHI. This was our first rental in Sea Pines and it brought back a lot of amazing memories. This was our 5th year vacationing there. We have had some okay homes and some not so good (mainly dealing with the rental company.) This year was by far the best experience. The home met all of our needs and for the first time, we had no real issues. We had one small issue and I made a call and it was resolved within a couple of hours.

Best stay ever!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Easy access to the beach made our stay perfect with 4 young children in tow. This lovely home easily fit the needs of our grown children and their young families, 11 total guests. Pool was perfect, distances to Salty Dog and Harbour Town were an easy drive away. House was clean and layout terrific. The rental staff was great. One problem, which was reported at end of stay, was the need for cleaning of stove burners as they did not all fire correctly. Hopefully that has been addressed for future visitors. Would rent this property again! 4 stars only because of stove maintenance issue.

Wonderful Location; Great Space

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family rented this perfectly located home for a long weekend getaway. With the 3 king bedrooms, we found the space to work well for our 3 adult children, their spouses and our grandchild. Beds were very comfortable; bathrooms and closets spacious. The house gets a lot of gorgeous sunlight. The pool was lovely - on the small size but really perfect. We had some difficulty operating the hot tub, but the property manager was very responsive and able to remotely manage it for us. The house has plenty of plates and cutlery and basic pots, pans and cooking vessels. It takes about 2-3 minutes to walk to the beach. We found Harbour town and other attractions easily accessible by bike from the house. Although I don't know the date of build, we estimated the house to be 20-25 years old.

Great house/location for the price

Overall we very much enjoyed our stay as this was our first time ever to visit Hilton Head. The house was nice and spacious with 5 bedrooms each with en-suite baths. There were 10 of us and we all fit comfortably. The location was terrific with approx 2 block walk to the beach. Only a few small complaints, the refrigerator was rather small for a house that holds that many people. The ice machine struggled to keep up and made a lot of noise. It could only produce about one third the amount of ice that it should. The bunk room stayed pretty warm at night despite the rest is the house being well air conditioned. A fan was provided in the room which was nice but it was still very warm and humid for the 4 tweenagers staying in there. There was an issue with running out of hot water but we did not report it to the rental company until the last day because we didn’t want to deal with repairmen coming in and out during our vacation. The hot water tank seemed large enough to accommodate most of our group but hardly anyone was getting a full hot shower each day. I’m sure that is something that can be resolved. The rental company was very responsive to all of our calls and requests. The house was a great deal given the size and the location, especially since homes on the front row of the beach rent for three times the price. We had a good time and would happily stay there again.

Great Location - home needs some TLC

We had no AC for more than two days and could not use the main great room, kitchen or dining room. The home needs some TLC given this is a "premier property". We requested an adjustment to our invoice but no response has occurred.
