We stayed for 1 week in July at Steve's cottage and we couldn't have been happier with our experience! Communication was excellent and the cottage was well stocked with everything we could possibly need to enjoy our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent at the cottage, walking along the beach and even riding the bikes provided. We saw lots of different birds, the local rabbits and even some seals right from our gazebo on the property. We did some day trips to Cape Breton Island during our stay and loved having such a fantastic place to come "home" to each night. Steve had some great recommendations for us before and during our trip, and made sure we had all we needed for a great vacation. Would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quiet, private and peaceful retreat!

Steve’s communication was super proactive, his property and the views are stunning, and it is well equipped with anything you might need or want for your stay! Would definitely recommend a stay here.

We totally enjoyed our peaceful retreat at the beach cottage. It was the perfect size for the two of us. The views from the porch, the balcony, or the gazebo were stellar. Lovely beach to walk and watch the occassional boat go by out of the bay. Beautiful cool breezes. Steve was a great communicator and made sure we had any questions answered. The loft is a little tight if you are tall, but we did not have any issues with sleeping as the place is so quiet. Only birds in the morning to awaken us. The cottage is a good jumping off point to Cape Breton and Antigonish is only 25 min away if you want a restaurant or some interesting shops. We hope to go back one day!

Lovely stay

Peaceful second stay at this property. Lovely sunsets, practically private beach, great bird watching (and rabbit watching too). Our dog enjoyed herself too!

Cute, quaint and clean, Steve’s cottage offers an amazing get an away from it all experience with amazing ocean views within reasonable driving distance to city centres and activities. Would highly recommend!

A treasure, a relaxing get away with all the amenities

This is a wonderful place to stay. We did not want to leave. A secluded cottage with a private beach with the provision of outdoor games, kayaks, bikes, an outdoor firepit and incredible sunsets. A wonderful family location or just if one wants to escape.

Beautiful and private

My wife, our three children and I stayed here for 7 nights. Its was very comfortable. Private sandy beach and great scenery. The owners were very helpful and pleasant. It was a great time and experience!

Peaceful stay in Tracadie.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely secluded cabin. The cabin is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. Lots of extra emenities and easy to check in and out. Scenic drives to Cape Bretton and Antigonish. Kids loved the yard and beach combing right out the door.

Peaceful stay at a spectacular property!This place was a true sanctuary and ticked all of the boxes for us. The cottage is well appointed, very clean and comfortable. The location-wow! We loved the incredible ocean views, the lovely beach for walking and the numerous, outdoor sitting areas for dining, reading and star-gazing. The hosts were friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had.They also ensured that we had all information needed to have a great stay.Many thanks to Steve and Danielle for sharing this beautiful seaside oasis!

Great private location right on the water

We had an amazing week spending time on the beach, swimming, catching mackerel and stripped bass right off shore, searching for shells, and evenings by the fire. Cottage was small but clean and had everything you need. We loved the small charcoal bbq for cooking food right in the beach. Would definitely recommend to others!

Incredible

We wanted to spend a quiet week on the ocean and visit family in the area. This was an incredible property for our 1 week stay. The private beach is literally a stones throw from the cottage. The gazebo with a picnic table had an amazing 180 degree view of the coastline. Our standard poodle loved the property.

A perfect place to relax and unwind

We had a wonderful time here! The view was spectacular and having access to the ocean so close was heavenly. This cottage has all the amenities you could want to make the most of your time there and enjoy the outdoors. Communication with Steve was exceptional. He was very responsive to any questions we had.
