100% NO SMOKERS. Host has asthma and cannot be around smokers of any kind. Guests have access to the suite and the shared patio in the back. Approx. 232 sq. ft. 2 adults only. PRIVATE SMALLER BATHROOM WITH A SMALLER SIZED SHOWER MAY NOT BE SUITABLE FOR LARGER PERSONS. Private entrance and gas fireplace (in season). Beautiful patio and garden in back of home. We cannot accommodate children (which includes babies) or pets. We have two different units so be sure it is the COBBLER ROOM you want to book. *There are security cameras and lights OUTSIDE ONLY. Locations are: the front of the main home, on the side of the main home over the steps, and at the back of the main home covering the patio, backyard and alley entrance. They record video and audio 24/7. They will be on during your reservation. There are NO cameras in personal or indoor spaces. Host lives on site. NO food service. Upon arrival a registration form will need to be signed and a valid credit card number and full address must be supplied. The credit card information is shredded after your stay. Guests may bring a bike lock and lock bikes to a pole out front, take them up the steps to the patio or lock them on your vehicle but they are never allowed in the suite. Although WiFi and Satellite TV are offered and we do our very best to make sure it is operational, it is a courtesy as we are at the mercy of the service provider and it is not guaranteed. From time to time some dates MAY become available for one-night stays. If you happen to book one of these dates, please realize we normally cannot accommodate early check-ins. If you really need in early, please consider also booking the night before. No third party bookings.

Spontaneous Getaway

Great location for walking around downtown and close to several attractions. Live music at several locations within walking distance. Accomodations very clean. Bathroom functional but very small. Nancy was a great host.

Nestled in the Historic District in Hermann MO, The Cobbler Room is part of a traditional German home, Circa 1840, that was once owned by a shoe cobbler. Private entrance, private smaller bathroom with smaller shower which may not be suitable for larger persons. 100% no smoker property, no tobacco, no pot or vaping.
