A stones throw to the beach, this home in the highly coveted beach community of Tower Shores features a private beach which backs up to the state park. This 4 bedroom townhome sleeps 8-10 with 2 Queen beds, 2 twins, bunk beds and a pull out sofa sleeper. Brand new AC system, 3 relaxing decks, and vaulted ceilings, make this home a refuge for beach goers. This home comes with 4 parking spaces, an outdoor shower, wireless internet, google nest mesh WiFi and three flat screen TVs with streaming capability. Newly expanded top deck with beach and bay views! New AC lower level, new microwave 2023!

Safe and friendly beach community is accented by tennis/pickle ball courts, picnic gazebo and playground. Within the community is SoDel's highly rated Matt's Fish Camp restaurant. Bethany boardwalk 3 miles away, Indian River marina 1 mile and Dewey beach, Rehobeth Beach just 7 miles.

Relaxing Beach Stay

No need to overpack when staying at this property, and the hosts are very responsive to questions. We loved the privacy and view from the back balconies. It really felt like a home away from home. We will definitely return in the future.

Best place for my family!

This was our 4th year and we continue to be very pleased with this townhouse for our family! Love the location- steps to the beach. Plenty of room for three generations! Nice accommodations- has all we need and clean and comfy! Plan to come back in 2025! Can’t think of a better place.

Love Tower Shores

Loved our trip. The location and neighborhood is ideal for family vacation, short walk to the private beach that doesn’t get too crowded, playground, etc. the house was lovely for a trip with our children and parents. Bathrooms really need a significant upgrade, but were very clean and livable. Otherwise the house is absolutely perfect!

Great Vacation

We had a wonderful vacation. The place looked just as advertised. The three levels and three decks allowed for the family to be together yet have privacy as well. The owners are extremely friendly and very easy to reach. Would highly recommend this property.

Spacious House and Great Location

Our family enjoyed our stay. We appreciated the accommodations inside and out. With 2 decks and a patio there was plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors while on location. Being close to the beach without having to cross streets was necessary since we had young children, so the location was perfect. The younger ones enjoyed the playground and the older ones enjoyed playing pickleball at the adjacent court. Catherine and Dennis were attentive hosts, were very accessible and answered our questions promptly. Overall, a lovely place to stay.

Great Townhouse

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful townhouse! Its just steps to the beach and a short drive to restaurants, the boardwalk and Assateague island. The owner was great and easy to commnicate with. We are hoping to revisit next year!

Great place in Bethany!

We have stayed in many locations in Tower Shores and the Bethany, DE area. This was by far the smoothest and nicest location for our needs. The house was clean, modern and in an excellent location for maximum beach and fishing time! We loved spending time eating dinners on the deck, and kids could walk to the park and beach with ease. We will certainly stay here again!!

North Bethany close to beach and Matt's Fish Camp

We loved our stay at this property. Catherine was wonderful to work with and was very responsive to our needs. The location is ideal for this family of four and we practically ate at Matt's every night. We'll be back for sure....hopefully not during a pandemic.

Hot Fun in the Summer Time

Arrived on a Saturday for an eight day stay. Had only one day of cloudiness with some rain. Enjoyed seven days of sun, fun, ocean and sea air. Visited fun land and the boardwalk. Played Putt Putt and feasted on crabs. Last night ended with Rainbow sherbet. The property was perfect with just a short walk to the beach. It had all the accommodations you needed. The decor was beachy and super comfortable. Couldn’t ask for more What a great vacation!!!

Fun at the Beach

Awesome beach rental! Catherine was on top of everything I needed to know about her home. I felt well prepared for a first time stay. We had a young one - 20 months - be prepared for stairs. Great location, playground and pickle ball / tennis courts in great proximity; it was a great little playground for the "littles". Bedroom / bathroom on main level with living room and kitchen was nice in not having to climb additional stairs for grandparent(s). Decks on each level enabled greater privacy. Highly recommended!

Great vacation

We are a family of 10. The place is very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would do it again. Catherine aml Dennis were very accommodating. The place could use some repairs Multiple electric were not fictional. Frigerator had a leak which owners put a bucket in to catch water leak which limited space. Furniture and bedding was comfortable. The unit accompanied the 10 of us. The beach was very nice. Parking for 4. Nice beach cart. It was a good week

Great location

We couldn’t have asked for a better location. This house is right down a private road from a private beach. The beach was never crowded and we always got a great spot. Bethany beach boardwalk was a quick drive away. The house itself was nice, but dated. It’s not a great house for families with little babies since there are four levels, with one bedroom on each. The lowest level is an efficiency suite, with an electric stove. Luckily the knobs could be easily removed so the kids could t turn it on. The outside table was perfect for group dinners and the tv room was great for relaxing after a Long Beach day.

Great location, beach and overall stay

We had a great stay at this house. The pictures online actually sell it short a bit in my opinion, there are decks off the two Queen bedrooms and off the living room area. There are a few sets of steps that can be challenging for toddlers- we had a 2 year old and on the first day went to Walmart and bought a play yard style gate to block the steps - highly recommend this if you have little ones. The nice thing about multiple floors if you can get some space and it’s helpful at nap time/bedtime for the kids. The outdoor shower was also great for the kids after the beach - it’s a true shower stall where you can fully rinse off versus the usual open hose/sprayer. The kitchen has all you need to make meals etc. we had a beach cart with us but the house also has one with toys and chairs. We did not use it but there is also a small backyard area which is lined by trees so on 2 of the decks you get that view and lots of birds in those trees - a nice sound upgrade from busy ocean city highway noise we were used to. The beach is wonderful, everyone we encounter was friendly. This is a great little neighborhood! Short drive to everything .

About Average Beach House

The unit was fine but not fantastic. The kitchen was not equipped with pans for baking. The kitchen table was sticky even after washing it so it did not feel like can get it totally clean. The lock/door is tricky and would not easily close so the host came over to help. He was pleasant however this was an inconvenience because even when it closed it was tricky and the kids kept forgetting to ensure it was latched. Overall the place was probably average and we had a great week because the weather was fantastic and the proximity to the beach is great !

Great Bethany Rental

Luckily I found this home when I was searching for places for our annual Girls' trip. We are three women and prefer having at least 2 bathrooms so we like condos or homes versus a hotel. Catherine's place was perfect. We each had our own bedroom. The bedroom on the main level has a small bathroom ensuite. Upstairs from the living area are two nice size bedrooms that share a larger bathroom. One bedroom has 2 singles and the other has a queen. The bottom level has a room with a bathroom, couch, tv and a bunk bed. There is also a closet that has chairs, an umbrella for the beach and some boogie boards. There is also a beach cart to help carry things to the beach. The beach is a short walk and no roads to cross which is great. The beach itself is wide and borders the National state park which was great. I really like this area especially during this time with Covid-19 because it was easy to social distance on the beach. The house was well stocked and our new hobby is doing puzzles while drinking wine. :) Catherine had lots of puzzles to choose from. I would definitely rent this home again!

Fabulous stay, not long enough!

This location and home was the perfect start to the holiday/ Summer kick off! The Location is in walking distance to the private beach.The home has everything you need in the kitchen for cooking, games and books, and items for the beach. Catherine and Dennis are available for any questions regarding their home. They added some special touches that made us feel welcomed.Definitely will stay again.

Nice week at the beach

We had a nice stay. House is as described. Clean, comfortable, easy to check-in, hosts easy to reach. Nice beach but note there are no lifeguards on the beach.

Our favorite place

This place was absolutely beautiful, clean and well stocked. The host family was so friendly and stopped by and introduced himself. We were even able to get in the unit a couple hours early, which meant a lot to my family.

We are Catherine & Dennis O'Brien and have owned this property since December 2004. Our family had been renting for 6 years in Tower Shores, this exact house, and fell in love with the beach and the friendly people here. Dennis and I lovingly take care of this property, making upgrades and checking on it frequently. We have now purchased a slightly larger property, for our growing family, in the next community and are frequently here in the summer to answer any questions and assistance as needed, but still love this property and use it too! We welcome families who will enjoy this beach as much as we do and treat our home as if it were their own!

Whether you sit out on the back two decks enjoying bay and tower views or the front deck reading a book, you will love this home. The walk to the beach is just two minutes with no roads to cross. The lower level is great with bunk beds a sofa, chair and very large flat screen tv so that there are two areas for entertaining. Please enjoy our home!
