Welcome to Mountain Memories!!
Very easy access with no mountain roads. The cabin is located on the floor of Wears Valley on a flat one acre property with AMAZING views of the mountains!
Close to all the area attractions, but in the serenity of peaceful Wears Valley

• Townsend Shopping, Dining & Tubing – 5 mins
• Pigeon Forge Shopping, Dining, Attractions – 15 mins
• Dollywood Amusement Park – 15 mins
• Gatlinburg Shopping, Dining, Attractions – 25 mins

This beautifully furnished cabin has 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms – Easily sleeps 7 people. All bedrooms have king size beds, TV’s and plenty of space. You will feel at home and relaxed at Mountain Memories because we’ve provided everything you need to enjoy your stay – fully equipped kitchen, gas grill on back deck, linens & towels, etc. Walk across our yard for some fun at the community pool and fishing pond, or grab a burger, sandwich or ice cream at the pool’s deli restaurant!

Enjoy the stunning mountain views from the front porch and our large front yard. Relax in the hot tub on the front deck and take in the mountain sunsets. There are no difficult mountain roads to navigate to get to Mountain Memories, just pull into the long driveway that can accommodate up to three vehicles. This is a motorcycle friendly property that is super-easy access for bikes.

Wonderful Cabin!

This is a great property! Joe was an awesome host and super easy to communicate with and helpful. We loved the location in Wears Valley and being so close to Townsend and Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. Very peaceful area and cabin to come back to after busy days. Loved having the pool and fishing pond right there next to the cabin. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again!

We had a great experience

This cabin was perfect for our family trip. It is well kept, clean, and equipped with everything we could need. The location is perfect to explore the great Smokey mountain park as well as Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. A very peaceful and serene place but still an easy drive to the busier areas. Everything was as described, and communication with the owner was exceptional. Highly recommended.

Annual Girls Trip

We love the cabin from the moment we arrived. And we’re so sad to leave Both Joe and his wife were so friendly helpful and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. Joe even came over to help us build our fire in the fire pit and replace the propane tank on the grill. We would highly recommytheir cabin and will define back. Thank you both for a great time!

Nothing short of amazing

We recently stayed in this cabin for a long weekend with our three kids (ages 4, 5, and 15). Our boys had plenty of room to roam inside as well as outside! The property is located perfectly between the main drag of Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Townsend. The property was very well maintained and stocked with everything we’d need for a great weekend! Joe (property owner) was amazing to work with! He called the day before to give us a rundown of the cabin and tell us a much easier way to drive in that avoided traffic! We will definitely book again!

Perfect getaway at an ideal location!

Can’t say enough good things about this rental overall or the owner’s timely and thoughtful communication and correspondence. The unit had everything we needed and then some. The Wi-Fi was probably the best I’ve ever had in a cabin. The property was beautiful with a very nice view of the mountains. Sitting by the firepit at dusk looking at the hills is a nice way to end each day. Brand new appliances. Big rooms, Comfy beds, nice TVs in all of them. Nice and quiet, and remote enough, but yet conveniently close enough to the city if that’s your thing. We absolutely will be renting this one again next time we are heading to the area. I’ve rented a lot of cabins. This one is my favorite to date!

Summer Smokies Visit

This is the third time we have stayed in this cabin. We've been traveling to the Smokies, mainly for the National Park and outdoor experiences for a very long time. This cabin makes bringing the grandchildren such a rewarding vacation. The pool and fishing lake are on site but not too near in terms of privacy and noise. Many cabins in the mountains have sites which make it difficult for kids to play outside due to the hilly lots. This one is perfect with lots of space to explore and expend energy! The owner is wonderful to work with(he happened to be visiting the area while we were there and made sure everything was up to par). Thank you Joe! The cabin is well appointed & includes anything you need. Being near Townsend make it very easy to get groceries, gas and access to leisure activities. The park entrance is very near so we could take go there very easily every day. We'll be staying again at this great cabin. Looking for Fall or Winter dates right now!

First impressions are everything and upon entering the cabin we noticed it was hot, and I mean really hot. The air was set to over 80. We had to run an errand to the store and out to dinner and so by the time we got back to the cabin it was comfortable to sleep. The beds were comfortable and that is very important to us. The half bath downstairs was very dirty in the toilet, again first impressions. Also, we had issue with the lamps in the downstairs bedroom not working on one side and it made the room very dark. And the view from the front of the cabin, which is the only place to set outside is directly to a community pool and pond. Not the best in my opinion. What was a huge downside for us, and not to the fault at all of the owner of the cabin was we were unaware that a car show was in town and these cars were loud drift cars. Very young and very disrespectful individuals. They parked at the pool in front of the house and revved their engines all day and night. It was very unpleasant and made the stay just the opposite of what we had hoped for in spending time with our friends. There was even drag racing that took place on the road directly in front of the house on Saturday. Again, not a reflection of the cabin or the owner but if we had known or been advised of what was in town that weekend we would have chosen differently.

A view of the mountains, no mountain roads to get to our cabin and a large yard made our stay better than any before. We have made numerous trips to Pigeon Forge since the late 80's. Wears Valley is the most beautiful area in our opinion. Will definitely want to stay in this cabin again!

Great view, clean, comfy - would stay again!

The place was exactly as described & pictured! We love the open floor plan for family interaction - large table for all 7 of us as we cook dinner each night. They even had smores sticks for the girls to make s'mores. We ended each night watching a movie on the very comfy leather couches (bonus, it reclines!). The internet went out the last night but we just rebooted the box & it was back up again. After a long day of hiking, it was nice to jump in the preheated hot tub! There was a futon for the 7th person but the couch was more comfortable. There were plenty of extra towels for us to use for shower & hot tub. The view was PERFECT! Plenty of land and privacy. My husband even went fishing at the 2 ponds- little one next to house and a large one on the other side of the pool. Joe was very informative - he called me the day before to give me information (other places would just send an email). The only improvement I could think of is that I wish there was a sponge to wash dishes (just my preference) but plenty of dish soap & dish washer tablets. We would definitely stay here again!

Family getaway

Had a great time letting my kiddos fish for the first time. Loved the different shops and restaurants in the Wears Valley area. Great driveway and parking. Great communication with host.

Nice stay overall

The cabin is a nice property and Joe was helpful guiding us around traffic. We had plenty of space in the cabin and Joe was gracious with some last minute changes we needed to make. The Wi-Fi was great and the location was easy to get to with no steep roads. There was a pool available but we ended up not using it because it was PACKED full and only open from 9-6pm daily. It was open to the public and served the surrounding area. The listing mentioned fishing too but the signs around the fishing pond said permits were required. We ran into a couple issues- the AC was not cooling well the first night (it was super hot outside), the dryer was broken, the door keypad didn’t work, the water and ice maker of the fridge wasn’t working, and the place needed an overall deep clean. I am admittedly very picky about how clean properties are so let me specify- overall it was ok and I wasn’t uncomfortable. There were just a lot of cobwebs and dust on baseboards, etc. Caulking needs changed in the showers and maintenance items like that. I notified Joe of several of these issues and he had someone come out and replace a fridge water filter and the key pad. The water/ice on the fridge still didn’t work tho. We also replaced a very dirty air filter for the AC and bought fans which seemed to jumpstart the AC. The dryer didn’t work all week which was inconvenient as it rained periodically so we couldn’t get clothes dry. Overall it was a good week, but the property definitely needs a once over.

Summer Vacation

Property & home were better than the description. We had a great time on our summer vacation. Joe was very helpful in recommending restaurants, grocery stores & general information about the area. We love staying in Wears Valley. This is our 2nd time staying in Wears Valley & we love the convenience to so many attractions & outdoor activities.

Best views!!

Not far from Pigeon Forge center -Three true king size beds!! (I have found this to be very hard to find). Three true bathrooms - and also a half bath on main floor. Joe went above and beyond to let me know about the amenities that the cabin has to offer, as well as a safe route since we were towing a large trailer with our SxS. He was easy to communicate with and the cabin was clean. We will be staying here again in our future travel plans. Thanks Joe!

Beautiful property and beautiful view of the mountains. House well furnished with everything that we needed. Kids loved the hot tub and the convenience of a short walk to the community pool.
