The Stonehouse was an awesome property and the grounds were amazing so tranquil and relaxing. Beautiful landscape and the hosts were so accomodating. We will be going back every time we visit my son in Portland.

What a find! It was in a great location for our trip to Portland, positioned well for our adventures to the coast, the city and along the Columbia River Gorge waterfalls up to Mt Hood. The hosts were great, very responsive to our communications. We visited when the nights were a bit too cold for our liking to sit outside, but the back yard was quite beautiful; it would be a great space to enjoy. The inside was so lovely and cozy, with plenty of room for the two of us (some 1 bedroom places can feel a bit cramped). Would definitely recommend!

We loved our month long stay at the Stonehouse. We had everything we needed inside and the garden and patio are beautiful. Marlaine and Steve were always friendly and helpful. Our little Greta really enjoyed the outside, as well.

Beautifully landscaped & nestled amongst a canopy of trees for shade. Hosts are “present” on site in an upper unit of this property. They were very friendly/ helpful.

We were looking for a cozy reading retreat/ getaway and this was the perfect place! The area around the house was a beautiful, quiet forest, which we really appreciated. The fire table was really cozy to relax outside and read!

Great hosts, very responsive. The apartment is very comfortably and attractively furnished. The kitchen is well stocked. The yard and neighborhood is so inviting - great views and a hiking trail right at the top of the driveway.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at The Stone House. It was just as pictured with a beautiful yard and fabulous patio area. I appreciated how clean everything was in the house. The owners were very responsive and friendly. We would stay there again!

The VRBO was great. The kitchen was fully equipped and the location was perfect. It was a quiet neighborhood and easy walking distance to the historic town. Owners were very accommodating when we needed the table extended to fit my kids to have dinner with us and when the automatic lock malfunctioned at 10 pm so we could get back into the unit.The only minor issue was that my wife and I are very light sleepers and eventhough the Owners were very quiet, we were still able to hear their footsteps. Would completely recommend this VRBO to anyone who needs to stay in this area.

We enjoyed our stay

The accommodations were very nice. Welll equipped kitchen, nice living room and bedroom and the yard was beautiful. The outdoor scenery cannot be beat. The hostess was very friendly and helpful.
