This was our second time staying so that should tell you how much we recommend the property. The house is big enough for everyone to relax, the pool area is fantastic, and we had fun taking walks around the property. Easy check-in and check-out.

We love Cuba!!

This was our 2nd time staying at this property and we love it! Fishing, chilling in the pool and jumping off the dock into the pond. This place is great for relaxing.

Excellent place to stay with family

Host was responsive. House was perfect for our family of 14. Pool was amazing. Catch and release fishing was phenomenal. Would definitely stay again!!

Perfect family spot

The house was perfect for 2 families needing a place to stay from out of state. It had plenty of amenities for a warm and comfortable stay and would only be even better in the summer w/ the lake and in-ground swimming pool. The owner was super communicative and responsive.

Wonderful Stay

We just got back from our stay and it was wonderful. The house and property are beautiful and have all of the amenities you will need. This property is great for families or couples. We would have no problem returning here for another stay. Really enjoyed the retro Atari games.

Amazing location for a family getaway!

We had four generations of family meet in Cuba for a Missouri staycation. It was perfection! The house was amazing and accommodated everyone. The lake was fun for the little one to walk around and see the fish. And, the pool was great! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again!

We loved everything about this house! Plenty of space, quiet location, pool, hot tub, and MORE! Close to restaurants and grocery. We will definitely come back!

Awesome house, great location

Rented this house for a gathering of friends. Had a really excellent time. Lots to do onsite (swim, hike, hot tub, fire pit) and only 20 minutes from major outfitters for floating. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful home! My 4 adult kids and myself enjoyed the property, pool, hot tub and lake. Lovely view from the deck. The kitchen is spectacular and has everything and more you need. The dvd collection is amazing. Great host, responsive and friendly. Comfortable beds and furniture. This would be a 5 star if not for the fact the host remotely controls the thermostat, not allowing you to turn down the a/c below 72. None of us slept well either night because it was just too hot. I even slept with my bedroom door open the second night & it was still too warm. This is a first for me staying at any vacation rental in 7 states, that the guest doesn’t get to control the temperature. I don’t feel like it was a faulty a/c unit, more the inability to turn it lower to make up for all of us going in and out grilling, swimming, etc., as you do when hanging out enjoying your surroundings.

Perfect for quality family time!

Wow this place is amazing! Plenty of room to spread out, beds were super comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked, extra kitchen in the basement was so handy! Close to town for a quick dinner or to get more fishing gear ;) Never a bored minute with the lake activities and the pool - we will for sure be back!!

Lake paradise!

Better that you could even expect! From the mattresses, pool/hot tub, clear lake with friendly fishes... everything was great! It was the perfect place to meet up with family.

Great Place to Stay

We had a great time. Kids would swim all day we would fish in the mornings and afternoons. We caught good catfish, bluegill, green sun fish, and bass. Went to the ice cream shop near by which was also really good. We had 12 people 4 families and we had no problems making it work. Very nice house and well maintained property.

Multigenerational family vacation

Wonderful property with beautiful pool and lake- wonderful porch and area by lake to see the sunset. Grandkids loved the pool and plenty of outside space to play outside. Beautiful house with large kitchen upstairs and downstairs. Made some great memories!

Lake and pool fun all in one!

Loved this property! Spent every minute we were awake outside! The pool was refreshing and swimming around the boathouse was awesome. We caught fish in both ponds. Richard was a great host, we really enjoyed this property.

Girls Trip

The Lakehouse is a beautiful property. It is secluded yet close to things to do. Very relaxing and calm getaway. The pool was glorious on those hot summer days. Rich was so easy to work with. Thank you!

Ideal Staycation Destination

This property was just as advertised with plenty of room for our family of 8 adults! The house was beautiful with gorgeous views of the lake from the extensive deck area. We enjoyed the pool and often used the large green space for yard games. Rich was easy to contact and always very responsive to our questions!
