We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed the unit and its fantastic location on Kaua'i's beautiful North Shore. Although Hanalei Bay Resort is a wonderful complex that has full maid service for its registered guests, this particular unit is not a part of the timeshare resort and your booking did not have maid service included. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused during your stay. The unit is fully stocked with ample towels and linens for the occupancy of the property and the length of stay, however we did provide additional towels when requested. The swim-up pool bar at Hanalei Bay Resort is lovely and we wish that it could have extended hours, however, with rising Covid-19 concerns, there are limited hours for most businesses and other services. There are many wonderful dining and shopping options on the North Shore and we would have been happy to provide you with a list of our personal favorites if you had asked. We hope that you had an enjoyable experience overall, and we look forward to hosting you again on your next trip to our beautiful Hawaiian islands!

Regarding the ironing board, this studio is often rented in tandem with the next door unit which contains both an iron and ironing board. The unit you rented does not advertise an iron or ironing board. During a previous tandem booking, the ironing board must have been incorrectly moved into this unit and we apologize for the confusion this caused and for the difficulty you faced when trying to obtain an iron. Because this unit is separately managed from the resort itself, there can be some confusion regarding the responsibility for amenities and this is not our intention. We apologize for the communication issues you faced and would like to thank you for bringing this to our attention so that we can improve our communications and information provided for future guests. The microwave had to be removed from all studio units recently due to a mandate by the county, and this had not been updated in our amenities provided when you booked this property, we sincerely apologize for the oversight and it has now been updated. Overall we hope that you enjoyed your stay on Kauai's beautiful North Shore.
