Absolutely amazing property and hosts. They have everything you need. The area has amazing friendly people. I will be coming back to stay with Meagan and Rob as my hosts.

Rob was a very responsive host. We loved how close the cabin was to the lake. It had easy access and we enjoyed the paddle boat. The cabin had all the little extras such as toiletries, spices and laundry detergent and dryer sheets. Loved having the extra 1/2 bath.

Great stay at Clark Lake! The property was very clean, well-maintained, and offered a nice view for the price. Rob and Meagan were wonderful, friendly hosts who clearly take excellent care of the place. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay! The cottage was well stocked, clean and comfortable for a family of four. Weather was not great during our visit, so we played games inside and had a delicious meal at the eagles nest. Would highly recommend staying at this cozy cottage. The hosts were friendly, accommodating and easy to communicate with.

So many pros:Immaculately cleanFantastic binder full of info on both the house and areaHosts were incredibly nice and helpful and very responsive to messagesAdorable decorPlenty of towels/blanketsOne con (that only applies if you plan on bringing your own boat):The dock area is quite shallow. It would be totally fine for jet ski or pontoon boats but we brought our 20' Crownline and getting in and out of the dock was a little bit difficult. Also, the parking area was tight if you are hauling a boat/trailer.

Every about our stay was wonderful. Beautiful area with lots of things to see. Loved being on the water and having access to the kayaks. I would definitely stay here again when I visit Jackson.

Great Place

Beautiful location, with many things to do close by. The place was exceptionally clean. The listing almost doesn’t do this place justice. Will definitely stay there again.

Cozy cottage

This property was great! Very clean, convenient for is, as we have friends and family near Clarklake. It was stocked very well, we would definitely stay here again. Such a cute property!

Outstanding experience

I’ve never given a five star rating for a VRBO, but I give Casita Del Lago 5 stars My wife and I had a spectacular, relaxing fun week there, and Rob and Megan were the perfect hosts. We are looking forward to staying there again

Clarklake Cottage

We loved this cottage. It was clean, quiet, nicely decorated and the owners thought of everything that we might need. Other than needing a new coffee pot, the place was perfect for us.

Beautiful and relaxing

We were celebrating our 41st wedding anniversary and we couldn’t have asked for a cleaner or more relaxing stay. Our hosts were so helpful, we are terribly technologically challenged. Would highly recommend staying here and hop to come back for a longer stay next time!

This may have been our best VRBO experience. When we arrived, just before check-in, the cleaning crew had just finished and our hosts went in to check the cottage out. That should have told us right then what kind of hosts they are.As we'd seen in other reviews the description and pictures really don't do the property justice. It's truly a lake cottage, but very clean, comfortable, and filled with the hosts lovely artwork. It's really adorable. We loved the front porch for morning coffee and tea, the beach area was perfect for a lakeside sangria, and the kayaks are a wonderful bonus for paddling around and maybe getting lazy and floating!But the most impressive part is the hosts. We've never experienced hosts this wonderful, even at lovely Bed and Breakfasts. Truly, if VRBO wanted to write a book on being the perfect hosts they should interview Rob and Megan. They clearly want their guests to have their privacy and somehow balance that with making sure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. Respectful, super friendly, wonderful people. You won't regret renting from them - they were absolutely awesome! Thank you so much!

Exceeding all expectations

Everything was so beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The hosts are incredible and genuinely care about your away-from-home experience. Guests at the nearby properties were very friendly, too. The house and lot were larger than they looks online, and the lake views are fantastic from a large, front deck. Lots of wildlife - including nesting swans near the shore. We really enjoyed the backyard fire pit :-) . Thank you for the perfect Michigan home and vacation experience!

Anniversary trip

Was a great stay 5 stars all the way. Clean and looks and feels just like the pictures. Bed was a little to soft for my husband but it was nice. We did not enjoy any of the outdoors area as it was chilly and raining. Only suggestions I have is that the bedroom have room darkening drapes and that there was some board games or cards as it rained in the evening and it would have been nice to have that.
