Location couldn't have been more perfect. We loved the deck and the captains' chairs for slow mornings with a nice cup of coffee and a book. The bunk bed room received rave reviews from our kids too. We will definitely be coming back!

The time and ease to get to the beach was great. The king size bed was comfortable but the queen was to hard. The appliances and air conditioning worked well. Some of the pots and pans need upgrades (especially cookie sheets). Overall we had a great time.

Thank you, Kim, for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed being close to the beach and that you found the king bed comfortable. We’re sorry the queen bed was too firm and that some of the cookware was worn. Since your stay we’ve replaced the mattresses with new, more comfortable ones and upgraded our pots, pans and cookie sheets. We’ve also added a drip coffee maker and installed an Iron Breaker and reverse-osmosis water filtration system. We appreciate your feedback and hope you’ll stay with us again.

LOVED the fenced yard! The beachhouse was very clean, well stocked and tastefully decorated! Big living room TV and internet access was flawless! Especially enjoyed the roomy comforatble chairs on the deck! Would highly recommend!

This was our 4th stay at this house. We love the location and easy access to the beach. We also love the fenced area and gated balcony for our dog. I made for a more relaxing and worry free weekend.

Disappointing Stay.I stayed at this property from October 9–12, & it did not live up to expectations.Prior Notice & Fees Paid: The host was fully informed of my puppy’s breed & age well in advance of check-in, & I fully paid both the pet fee & the cleaning fee.Cleanliness & Pests: Despite paying a cleaning fee, the property was not clean upon arrival. We found several dead roaches near the dining table, & my puppy pulled two more from underneath the sofa.Amenities: The lights in the queen bedroom were broken when we arrived, & there was no bodywash in bathroom. While the host eventually sent bulbs & body wash over, he mentioned about paying out of pocket for them—even though providing functional lighting and basic essentials is standard host responsibility. Unjustified Vacuum Charge: Ten days after check-out, the host requested an additional dollars, claiming my pet's hair damaged his vacuum. I travel frequently to Surfside Beach with my pet and have never had a single host complain about pet hair affecting a vacuum.Suspicious Timeline & Equipment: When asked, the host refused to provide the brand or age of the vacuum. Waiting 10 days to clean or report an issue is highly suspect. Given the lack of transparency, I strongly suspect the vacuum was either an extremely old model incapable of basic cleaning, or it was already broken.I would not recommend staying here due to the poor cleanliness, sub-standard upkeep, and unfair post-checkout financial demands.

We had a great stay at the Rock House for the holiday weekend and to celebrate our 4 yr olds birthday. The house was perfect for our family and our pets. The property manager was very helpful and always responded quickly when I had questions. I highly recommended and we will definitely be back!

Home away from home

This is our 3rd stay at this house. We always look forward to our stay. We really enjoy the house and proximity to the beach. It definitely feels like our home away from home at this point.

terrific get away

We had a great time on our recent visit. The fenced in yard was even better than expected, which worked really well for us as we were traveling with our dog. The house is very comfortable and close to the beach, and the overseer was really responsive to any concerns we had during our stay. We plan to return

Surfside beach trip

Great location and great accommodations. The covered deck is awesome and location near beach is prefect. Close enough to walk. Very clean and with a great yard for the dogs. Overall A+ experience.

peaceful place

Very clean plenty of room for everyone very muchly appreciated all the TVs. Everyone was able to enjoy their favorite TV shows all the beds was very comfortable we enjoyed all the furniture and decorations throughout the house would definitely come back and stay here again and recommend it to my friends

Annual Family Vacation

A very nice, clean house in a good neighborhood. The beach decor brings a great touch to the house. The beds are so comfy, plenty of towels, kitchen has everything you need. The beach is close by. Buccee right up the road, many restaurants and convenient stores very close. We would stay again.

Family trip

Very cute. Loved the porch seating. House was plenty roomy. Close to everything. The water smells bad but we just used bottled water. The house has everything you need for meals/cooking. We loved it there. Would highly recommend this place.

Great location

Less than 1 block from the beach. Walking distance to restaurants. Liquor store right around the corner. Unit is furnished with everything you need. We picked up three bags of great sea shells. Love this place!
