I hosted my wedding weekend here with 60 guests, 16 staying overnight, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The building is so beautiful and unique. The owner was so kind and accommodating. We all felt very comfortable. My guests haven’t stopped raving about it. I would love to return with my family in the future!

What a wonderful place to stay for a long weekend for our daughter’s wedding. We had time to enjoy each other’s company in such a beautifully relaxing place. We had plenty of room for the bridesmaids to get hair and makeup done the morning of.

This place was perfect for what we used it for. Really fun and truly unique. Lots of trains at all hours, so it’s loud, but we loved it.

Wow—what an amazing place! We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay for our son’s wedding in Pepin. The Maiden Rock Retreat was perfect for our group and is a wonderful option for accommodating large groups or multiple families.Deb, the host, was fantastic! She was so accommodating and helpful throughout our entire stay. A few months before our visit, she gave us a tour of the property, which was incredibly helpful as we planned for the wedding and figured out how everything would work for our group. She was also very responsive to all of our questions and even let us borrow a ladder when we needed one. Her hospitality truly went above and beyond.So many family members commented on how wonderful the retreat was and how much they enjoyed staying there. It really gave everyone a comfortable place to relax, gather, and enjoy time together during such a special weekend.We also loved the location. Although Maiden Rock is a small town, but there are a few great restaurants and bakeries within walking distance. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food options nearby, which was especially convenient with a large group.If you’re planning a wedding in the Pepin area, traveling with multiple families, or simply looking for a wonderful place to gather with a larger group, we highly recommend the Maiden Rock Retreat. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely stay here again!The Grote’s

This place is amazing. It has everything you need for fun and entertainment or a relaxing evening by the fire. There are so many events you could host here from football viewing to weddings. Deb was quick to respond to any questions. We will no doubt be back.

We absolutely loved the character of this place and all of the space! Room were comfy, clean, and welcoming. The host was exceptional and went over and beyond in assisting us to prepare for our guests. The gathering spaces were perfect for our wedding rehearsal and dinner! We plan to be back!

Great place to stay especially with a lot of people!

Perfect for entertaining, we used this space to get ready for hair in makeup for our wedding and it was perfect! Great place to entertain, and has lots of space!

This a really unique rental. Absolutely loved everything about it. We used the event space to host our grooms dinner and a base for people to gather before and after our sons wedding. Everyone loved this space and we all had a great time!

Amazing place!

We had a big group staying in Maiden Rock and this place was perfect. It was beautiful, not to mention perfectly clean and well-stocked with everything you might need. Deb was very responsive throughout our entire stay. I would highly recommend it!

Family wedding

We were looking for a spacious location so we could all stay together for my nephew’s wedding. We loved the bar area with a pool table and sound system. It was a great weeekend!

We had a great weekend! Very impressed with the furnishings, provided cooking and food service supplies. We found EVERYTHING we need and more to host our weekend! All of our guests raved about the venue and their rooms.

Graduation

We rented this property for a graduation party. It had enough space for extended family to stay. This is a great place to make perfect memories. Thank you for setting up such a wonderful property. The host is excellent easy to communicate with and accommodating.
