River Jewels and Pearls

This beautiful waterfront home on the Alafia River is 1 no-wake zone away from Tampa Bay & situated 1/2 mile from Williams Park boat ramp! The river offers fishing, wake boarding, fishing & hospitality. You are welcome to bring your boat, jet ski (docking available in the backyard) bring your fishing rods! It is normal to see dolphin, manatees, snook, redfish, sharks, stingrays from the backyard. When booking you will have the entire home along with access to the dock, back yard, & patio. ** HAS 2 FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHENS AND 2 LIVING ROOMS** If you're looking for a nice waterfront restaurant we often visit Fin's or Circles in Apollo Beach, Joia on Gibsonton Drive, Rivers Edge or Tiki Docks on the Alafia, & Little Harbor in Ruskin. All noted restaurants are 5-20 mins away! The International Independent Showmen's Association Event Center and Museum is close to property and they have tours of the Museum. It can sometimes be noisy during some events.( A few days a year). Please check for times and dates before booking if you have concerns.

Home was clean & beds comfy. Our group rented both the top & bottom of home. 2 kitchens made mealtimes a breeze. We rented a boat for the week & tied up easily to dock. Good fishing right off dock. Overall we had a great stay.

Great stay

We had a very nice stay in this property. We had six adults and the way the units are laid out we had plenty of privacy and space. The river and backyard were also very nice. The host left us shampoo, soap, laundry detergent which was also great. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Peaceful Canal Getaway

Having two 'apartments' in one property fit our needs perfectly. The large open floor design was ideal for a larger party to gather and the location on the canal was an absolute delight.

Thanksgiving

The home was spacious and well appointed. Everyone was comfortable and relaxed inside the home, as well as in the yard, overlooking the lake view. There were raccoon, fish, and crab sightings. The shopping centers were in close proximity, which made it easy to make numerous trips for items needed for our Thanksgiving feast. We were not ready to leave after our six-day vacation.

Beautiful Home Inside

We were very impressed with the inside of the home, it was well appointed with updated kitchen and extras for kitchen and bathroom. It was very spacious and the pictures on the website don't accurately show how very large the homes(s) is/are, and it is plenty of room for everyone; there were 9 of us in the home and we had plenty of space. The only recommendations we would like to make to the owner is landscaping in the front and back. This would definitely improve the look of the home for it to receive 5 stars. Also, the neighborhood looked really shady, but it ended up being a really quiet location. We were very concerned when we went down the road to the house and it took about a day to get comfortable with the location and for us to feel safe. Overall we enjoyed the stay

Riverview stay!

House was very nice although 2 and floor is larger and would be more practical on the ground level, larger kitchen and dinning table. Bathrooms clean but tub plug needs some attention. It is at the ending of canal which makes fishing a little more difficult. But overall enjoyed and would consider going back again.

Great stay!

The host was great. He was quick to respond to all of our questions or needs. Whenever I text him, he was very helpful. The property fit our situation great. We were two families vacationing together. This is a duplex style home so one family stayed in the upstairs portion while we stayed in the downstairs. There is a common door to the outside, so we just left the inside entrance doors open so we never felt like we were separated, we used the downstairs as the "common area". My boys pretty much spent all day and night out on the dock. They mostly caught catfish. Walmart is only about ten minutes away, that was very convenient because we tend to forget things and being close to things was a great advantage to us. There were tons of spices in the kitchen, that was a nice touch. I would say though, there could have been more/larger pots and pans since there were ten of us, but we made due with what was there. The cleaners were still there when we got there, but that was our fault since we were early. They were very nice and know the owner of the property personally. Overall, I would definitely recommend, we had a great time.
