Loved A Hidden Gem!

The electric fireplace was a big selling point for my early Christmas stay! The location was perfect and just a couple blocks from the beach access. I will definitely stay here again!

A hidden gem was an excellent place to stay. It was our first trip to Jekyll Island and we enjoyed it very much. We liked that we could bring our dogs. The house was in a quiet neighborhood. There were even friendly deer. We had a great day thank you very much.

The house had comfortable beds and furniture and the kitchen was well stocked. The new coffee pot was a big plus from our visit in April.

It was a very nice place to stay. Quiet. Secluded and with all of the amenities of home. Hosts were very welcoming. Also great for our pet dog. Would definitely stay there again.

Sweet spot

It was very nice. Pretty and simple decor, nice screen porch which looked out on wildness. Easy walk to the ocean. You can swim there at any tide-- high tide is fine.

We love riding the trails and through the historic district. The house was as advertised and had what we needed. The living room furniture was comfortable and we enjoyed the small but nice screened in porch in back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a good last minute, animal friendly find. We booked a partial week only a week ahead of time and it worked for us. (4 adults and infant) We liked that the house was secluded in the neighborhood and within walking distance to the beach. There are several bicycles there but we didn't use them so can't vouch for working order. Home owner is right next door but we only saw them once, which was fine. This is an older 2br, 1.5 bath duplex home, clean, well furnished with some updating. A nice screened back porch, easy 2 vehicle paved driveway. The deer outback nearly ate apples from our hands which was a treat. Overall comfortable. Thank you Jekyll Realty for notifying us when it was ready and eliminating the stop at the office on the way in. We dropped keys off for check out with ease.

April 2024 Stay

We are Jekyll Island fans. This was a good last minute find when looking for a pet friendly partial week. We booked only a week ahead and it worked for us. (4 adults and infant) We enjoyed the seclusion in the neighborhood and within walking distance to the beach. Lots of nearby sites for fishing, beach, golf, biking, putt putt. We ate at home because previous trips prove to be long waits at local restaurants. There are several bicycles at Hiddn Gem, but we didn't use them so can't vouch for working order. Home owner is right next door but we only saw them once, which was fine. This is an older 2br, 1.5 bath duplex home, clean, well furnished with some updating. A nice screened back porch, easy 2 vehicle paved driveway. The deer outback nearly ate apples from our hands which was a treat. Overall comfortable. Not overly touristy! We loved ALL the Christmas decorations, driving through the lights, the Christmas parade and that our little rental (Hidden Gem) had mega decorations! It made for a festive Holiday for us who have no family left. We hope too visit again. THANK YOU Theresa and John Neal for being great hosts!

December 2022 Stay

Stayed at a Jekyll rental home 26 years ago. It was a great visit. Husband and I were HAPPY too see Jekyll had not changed all that much. a few new things but not huge change. We love the 'laid back' feel as we are from way out in the country of Tennessee. We LOVED our stay at the 'Hidden Gem' for ten days. Our hosts were AWESOME! We hope too visit again soon. Love all the Christmas Decorations everywhere. THIS made OUR Christmas Holiday for us. THANK YOU...
