Thank you Matt for sharing your beautiful home with us. We loved all of the great artwork inside the house along with the wonderful view of the bay. The house was perfect for three couples and was very clean. We used it as a home base to explore the area. The large table was perfect for our card games every evening. On clear evenings the night sky was perfect for viewing all the stars. When some of our group wanted to walk on a beach, the park at the Second Sand Beach was perfect.

Fall stay at Bear Paw

Very comfortable and clean property. Very quiet and a great break if you’re looking to get away from the city. A nice place and suitable for families.

Secluded Superior Stay

Nice, secluded home away from the hustle and bustle. Beautiful site on Lake Superior. A little bit of a drive with some unpaved roads, but a great place to stay!

Great getaway!!

What a wonderful property, had everything needed for a comfortable & relaxing stay. Everything was very clean & the beds were very comfortable. Sunsets were gorgeous every night and the hot tub was a nice feature. Beautiful area to hike and find waterfalls. Would definitely recommend & would stay here again.

Nice U.P. Cottage on the Lake

Lovely place to unwind for a few days, serene setting in the woods along Keweenaw Bay. Plenty of space to cook and relax. Great starting off point for day-trip adventures.

Awesome secluded place

I came here to relax and get awesome views of the lake. This place delivered. The hot tub and sauna was awesome after long hikes.

Enjoyed our stay

We had a great time, nice property. Lots of deer. If it's winter, make sure you have 4x4 or and, hard to get up the hill to leave when it's icy.

Paradise!

Loved our stay at Bear Paw, what a beautiful house and property. The house was maintained perfectly and everything was in order! Loved the views of Lake Superior and the sunsets. Weather was perfect and enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Wonderful, peaceful retreat!

Really great place to disappear for a few days. Remote, but not hours away from necessities if the need arises. Beautiful scenery and complete silence. We went when the bay was frozen, but I imagine that it would be lovely to wake up to seeing the waves every morning.

Secluded Relaxation

My family and I had a wonderful time here. We spent a lot of time by the water skipping rocks and enjoying the view. The house was just the right size for the five of us- four adults and one 4 year old. Communication with the host was easy and prompt. Would definitely stay here again!

A beautiful UP retreat

This lakefront house had everything we needed for our week and it was kid-friendly to boot. The rock beach was such a hit with our little ones, and it was only 20 minutes to sand beaches and the wonderful small shoreline town of L'Anse. We'd love to come back again!

Beautiful in any weather!

All of the comforts of modern amenities in a private rural area. The sound of the lake just outside the door while nestled in a forest haven.
